Job Description

The Associate Director, Advanced Analytics will develop and deliver data-driven solutions to enhance marketing performance and media insights. This hybrid role in Chicago involves creating client-ready analytic strategies, frameworks, and methods, collaborating with various teams like Strategy, Activation, and AdOps. The role requires strong big-data management, modeling expertise, business acumen, and project management skills to solve complex business issues. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the attribution landscape, including econometric modeling, LTV prediction, and CRM databases, and be proficient in SQL, Python, or R. They will manage and mentor junior team members, influence campaign optimizations, and foster a growth mindset.

  • Excellent oral, written, and client presentation skills.

Overview

The Associate Director, Advanced Analytics will assist in developing and delivering data-driven solutions that enhance marketing performance and media insights. This role involves creating client-ready analytic strategies, frameworks, and methods, while playing a key role in advancing client-facing solutions. The AD, Advanced Analytics will work closely with partners across various teams, including Strategy, Activation, Operations, Audience and AdOps, to drive data-led integration and measurement strategies across multi-channel activations. They will bring a strong mix of big-data management and modeling expertise along with business acumen and project management skills to solve complex business issues through creativity, and human insights. They will also bring deep client and relationship management proficiency, together with a passion for building new capabilities through experimentation. They will directly influence campaign optimizations, third-party vendors for marketing mix modeling, and audience activation, all while fostering collaboration and a growth mindset.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background and understanding of the attribution landscape, including econometric modeling, customer propensity derivation, LTV prediction and CRM databases. Candidates must be proficient in writing scripts (SQL, Python and/or R) and have experience managing analysts to design, develop and deliver client-ready deliverables and insights effectively.

This is a hybrid role in Chicago requiring 3 days a week in office.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with DTAI leads and the Director, Advanced Analytics, to develop prioritization and execution of strategic projects to improve marketing investment and improvement of analytical maturity
  • Co-lead development and presentation of advanced analytics solutions and long-term analytics project roadmap to address client’s business and marketing needs, that are also critical to DTAI’s long-term success
  • Actively share knowledge with client and internal teams regularly regarding derived insights and results to impact business needs and further growth
  • Enhance and improve frameworks and methods to address client and industry strategies including the integration of digital media and customer analytics to increase performance
  • Drive the use of analytics forward thinking across the organization
  • Manage and/or mentor Manager, and Senior Analyst level contributors, including managing the prioritization and allocation of resources across projects and teams across defined client portfolio
  • Be seen as a thought leader at Infinite Roar and across the Publicis in the AdTech/MarTech space, with special emphasis on data science and generative AI / LLM applications in the industry
  • Actively participate in industry learning. Regularly meet with internal stakeholders and vendors to build POVs, translating these materials to support learning, evangelism and advocacy for Infinite Roar

Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in digital media, ad technology or business consulting using data and information to drive marketing recommendations
  • 3+ years managing relationships across complex hierarchies and demonstrated ability to directly influence both internal teams and clients.
  • Degree in marketing or quantitative disciplines such as statistics, mathematics, economics or data science.
  • Strong knowledge of one or more analytics disciplines including Predictive Modeling, Marketing Mix Modeling (digital; TV, radio, OOH, etc.), Attribution sciences and the implementation of large language model based applications across the tech-stack
  • Strong experience with R, Python or other similar statistical and machine learning tools
  • Ability to quickly evaluate complex client issues and demonstrate experience in solving client’s business challenges with data-driven strategy and analytics solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of ad and marketing technology, including media buying, multi-channel measurement and media planning, creating cross-channel measurement frameworks and learning agendas, as well as breadth of knowledge on ad servers, dynamic creative optimization, OLV/CTV + Linear measurement, ad verification, customer data platforms, identity resolution solutions, DSPs, etc.
  • Experience successfully managing multiple clients and/or brands across a variety of third-party marketing measurement technologies and platforms
  • Excellent oral, written and client presentation skills, with the ability to create compelling data-driven narratives and a natural knack for story-telling.
  • Embody a can-do attitude, and a “figureoutability” mindset
  • start-up experience (or commensurate entrepreneurial experience) strongly preferred
  • Understanding and experience based point-of-view on best of breed technology tools for BI/Data Analytics, Martech, Adtech, CDP, CRM, etc. preferred.
  • Previous agency-side experience

Compensation Range: $110,580 - $158,865 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
