Job Description
Purpose of the position:
Design, develop and maintain data engineering systems and processes that ensure the efficient ingestion, transformation, storage and availability of information for the DA HUB of SPLatam. This role is key to enabling cloud analytical platforms, ensuring data quality and promoting innovative practices that drive digital transformation and data democratization in the region.
The main functions of the area:
- Design and implementation of processes related to Data Engineering such as:
- The definition and implementation of data flow
- Data exploration
- Optimization / Automation of Processes/Routines that generate efficiencies in analytical processes.
- Application of practices based on DataOps
- Guarantee the life cycle of analytical platforms from:
- The design of architectures for ESS & analytics products that integrate services and platforms from both Experian and Cloud providers
- The implementation and maintenance of the platforms
- The assurance and governance of the platforms
- The incorporation of constant innovation taking advantage of advances in Cloud technology, Big Data, GenAI, among others.
- Ascend Analytical Sandbox Customer Support:
- Executing a friendly onboarding for our clients
- Support in understanding data structures, platform management and efficient use of it
- Cost optimization ensuring a correct understanding of customer needs
To achieve its objective and fulfill its functions, the area has the following profiles and positions:
- Data Engineers and analytical platform administrators
- Ascend Technical Experts
- Technical leader of analytical products and platforms such as Ascend.
Responsibilities of the position:
- Design and manage data ingestion, transformation and access processes (structured and unstructured), ensuring efficiency and reliability.
- Generate value from data by creating significant attributes and transformations for products and services.
- Ensure data quality, implementing control and validation mechanisms.
- Implement and maintain analytical platforms in the cloud, aligned with business needs and defined architectures.
- Apply DataOps and DevOps practices, optimizing the operation and deployment of solutions.
- Drive innovation in data engineering, incorporating emerging technologies such as Big Data, Cloud, GenAI and advanced automation.
- Collaborate in the optimization of costs and resources, ensuring efficient use of platforms and services.
Qualifications
A Data Engineer passionate about innovation and process optimization, who leads the design, development and maintenance of data processing and data flow systems for the SPLatam DA HUB.
This role is key to enabling cloud analytical platforms, ensuring data quality and promoting modern practices such as DataOps and DevOps, driving digital transformation and data democratization in the region.
