DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer at S&P Global, you will join a team responsible for managing and maintaining critical platforms like Jenkins, GitHub Enterprise, Artifactory, SonarQube, and Azure DevOps. Your role involves creating and maintaining robust DevOps toolchains for the SDLC process and developing reusable workflow templates for various divisions. Must Have

• Manage and maintain Jenkins, GitHub Enterprise, Artifactory, SonarQube, Azure DevOps.
• Create workflow templates and DevOps toolchains for SDLC.
• Automate infrastructure and pipeline processes.
• Develop scripts using Bash and Python.
• Work with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and methodologies.
• Understanding of version control systems like Git.

Good to Have

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• AWS/Azure Cloud Practitioner or Associate level certification.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.

The Team:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of a team managing platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Enterprise, Artifactory, SonarQube, and Azure DevOps (ADO). You will be responsible for creating and maintaining DevOps toolchains for the SDLC process and building workflow templates that other divisions can adopt. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with key DevOps technologies and gain hands-on experience in automating and streamlining development workflows across the organization. You will also collaborate with the team on cloud platform tasks and infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities and Impact:

• Manage and maintain platforms like Jenkins, GitHub Enterprise, Artifactory, SonarQube, and Azure DevOps.
• Create workflow templates and DevOps toolchains to enhance the SDLC process for various divisions.
• Collaborate with the team to automate infrastructure and pipeline processes.
• Develop scripts using Bash, Python, or similar languages for process automation.
• Work with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure for deploying and managing infrastructure.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $95000 to $100000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
