DevOps Engineer for ČSOB Insurance Company (M/F)

This role involves collaborating with various internal IT teams (application support, server, database, development) and external suppliers. Key responsibilities include deploying Openshift microservices, resolving operational incidents, and contributing to application development. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of IT experience, precision, critical thinking, and active English language skills.

What will a working day with us be like?

Your tasks will include:

• Collaboration with teams across internal IT: application support, server team, database team, internal development team
• Coordination of work with external suppliers

Who are we looking for?

What you should bring with you:

• Min. 2 years of experience in IT
• Precision and critical thinking
• Active knowledge of English – spoken and written

Experience with:

• Deploying .war files
• Docker: Containerization tool
• Argo: Automation tool for Kubernetes for deploying applications
• Kubernetes: System for managing containerized applications.
• Ansible: scripting language for automation
• Knowledge of TCP/IP
• Linux Red Hat

Basic knowledge of:

• GitHub: Platform for source code hosting with versioning
• GitLab: Similar to GitHub, provides source code repositories and CI/CD tools
• Virtualization environment VMware

The basic monthly salary ranges from 2200 € gross, the final salary depends on the individual abilities and experience of the selected candidate. The final salary depends on previous experience, seniority in the sought-after area, and professional knowledge.
