As Director, Global Talent Acquisition at Iron Mountain, you will lead the design and implementation of large-scale global recruiting initiatives. This strategic role involves optimizing talent strategies using data and analytics, evolving the recruiting function, and overseeing North America's 5,000+ annual hires. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, drive technology enablement, and lead and mentor the North America delivery team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.

  • Act as a thought partner to executives and customers
  • 10+ years progressive Talent Acquisition experience
  • 5+ years of director level recruiting leadership experience
  • Experience leading TA within a large, global, matrixed organization is required
  • Strategic, data-driven leader with a bias for action and accountability
  • Excel at problem-solving, using data to drive consensus and build trusted partnerships
  • Deep understanding of new innovative TA technologies
  • Seasoned and experienced leader who can build, develop, and motivate high-performing teams
  • Lead with empathy and integrity, cultivating a high-performance, inclusive culture

The Opportunity

As the Director, Global Talent Acquisition, you will be a strategic business partner leading the design and implementation of large-scale global recruiting initiatives. Acting as a trusted advisor and consultant, you will use data, analytics, and intelligence to optimize talent strategies and influence business outcomes. You will lead the evolution of a best in class recruiting function, ensuring our processes, technology, and people align with Iron Mountain’s dynamic business needs. This position will lead the strategy and delivery for all of North America’s 5,000+ annual hires (Corporate, Technology, and Frontline High Volume) as well as oversee global, matrixed recruiting initiatives as part of our global account management model. You will report to the Head of Global Talent Acquisition and be a key member of the leadership team.

Role and Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Consultation & Strategy Design

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, designing and implementing global recruiting strategies aligned with transformational business goals.
  • Partner with leaders across the global HR organization and business units to solve complex talent challenges.
  • Use data and market intelligence to drive decisions and maintain a competitive edge in the global talent market.
  • Build customized, business unit specific recruitment strategies and processes. Project manage complex, global recruiting initiatives.

Technology Enablement & Process Optimization

  • Drive the evolution of our recruitment ecosystem by helping identify new technologies, including AI, to enhance recruiter efficiency and productivity.
  • Build customized, business unit specific recruitment strategies and processes. Project manage complex, global recruiting initiatives.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of TA technologies and processes to maintain rigor and a high-quality experience.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the North America delivery team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability. You are a leader of leaders.
  • Upskill and develop your team through coaching and professional growth opportunities.
  • Cultivate a team culture focused on empathy, change management, and operational excellence.
  • Act as a thought partner to executives and customers, providing guidance on recruiting best practices and strategy.

The Ideal Candidate Characteristics & Credentials

  • Experience: 10+ years progressive Talent Acquisition experience with 5+ years of director level recruiting leadership experience. You have successfully led distributed teams and possess deep expertise in high-volume, corporate, and technical recruiting environments. Experience leading TA within a large, global, matrixed organization is required.
  • Consultative Skills: You are a strategic, data-driven leader with a bias for action and accountability. You excel at problem-solving, using data to drive consensus and build trusted partnerships with leaders and cross-functional teams. Customer centricity is at your core.
  • Technology & Innovation: You have a deep understanding of new innovative TA technologies and are passionate about building and optimizing new solutions. Innovation and optimization is at your core and you do not settle for maintenance or the status quo. Strong preference for Workday experience.
  • Leadership: You are a seasoned and experienced leader who can build, develop, and motivate high-performing teams. You lead with empathy and integrity, cultivating a high-performance, inclusive culture.

Reasonably expected salary range: $159,400.00 - $212,500.00
