Job Summary
The Director of Investor Relations (IR) is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing the company's investor relations program to enhance shareholder engagement, attract new investors, and ensure transparent, consistent communication with the investment community. This position partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to communicate the company’s strategy, financial performance, and value proposition to analysts, investors, and other stakeholders. The role will report directly to the Senior Vice President Corporate Finance & Development. Key responsibilities include leading the IR strategy, serving as the primary liaison with the investment community, developing investor messages, preparing for earnings calls and investor conferences, and managing IR vendor relationships.
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in IR, investment banking, equity research, or corporate finance.
- Deep understanding of financial reporting, SEC regulations, and capital markets.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to interact with C-level executives, institutional investors, and analysts.
Good to Have
- MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred.
- At least 3 years in a senior IR or leadership role.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to interpret detailed sell-side models.
- Experience in publicly traded companies, ideally in the TMT sector.
- Calm under pressure and comfortable with high-stakes communications.
- Highly collaborative and able to influence across functions.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent writing and storytelling skills.
- Experience with IR platforms (e.g., Q4, Nasdaq IR Insight) and financial data tools (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ).

The Director of Investor Relations (IR) is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing the Company’s investor relations program to enhance shareholder engagement, attract new investors, and ensure transparent, consistent communication with the investment community. This position partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to communicate the company’s strategy, financial performance, and value proposition to analysts, investors, and other stakeholders. The role will report directly to the Senior Vice President Corporate Finance & Development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with corporate goals.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and the investment community, including institutional investors and analysts.
- Work collaboratively with the Company’s Treasury team on rating agency engagement and communications.
- Develop key investor messages and insights.
Prepare for quarterly earnings calls and investor conferences and meetings ,develop investor presentations, and contribute to and review all earnings releases,annual reports (10-K, 10-Q, etc.) and other investor facing documents, with investor related insights. - Play a significant part in drafting quarterly earnings prep documents including first drafts of CEO/CFO scripts, earnings presentations, and Q&A’s.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with investors and analysts through meetings, conferences, and other engagement activities. - Manage principal IR related vendor relationships.
- Monitor and analyze changes in investor activities and holdings, industry trends, peer performance, investor sentiment, and market dynamics to provide strategic insights to executive leadership.
- Coordinate closely with Business Units, Finance, Treasury, Legal, Communications, and other corporate functions related to monthly/quarterly reporting and variance explanations and ensure consistent, compliant external messaging
- Support the executive team during investor roadshows, conferences, and capital markets activities.
- Act as a spokesperson and trusted representative of the company to the financial community.
- Maintain a robust investor targeting strategy and database to support shareholder diversification and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in investor relations, investment banking, equity research, or corporate finance, with at least 3 years in a senior IR or leadership role.
- Deep understanding of financial reporting, SEC regulations, and capital markets.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to interact with C-level executives, institutional investors, and sell-side research analysts.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling and strategic thinking skills; ability to synthesize complex financial and business data into clear, compelling narratives. Specifically, a demonstrated ability to assist investors and analysts with understanding the Company’s business model.
- Ability to interpret detailed sellside models
