Job Summary

SS&C Intralinks is seeking a Director of Strategic Pricing to develop, implement, and manage global pricing strategies across its product and service portfolios. This role involves optimizing pricing models, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with product, sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure competitive and profitable pricing structures. The Director will conduct market research, design scalable pricing frameworks, analyze performance metrics, and provide expert guidance on pricing discussions to drive revenue growth and market share.

Must Have

  • Lead development and execution of global pricing strategy

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable pricing models and frameworks
  • Collaborate with product management, sales, marketing, and finance teams
  • Analyze pricing performance metrics, sales data, and profitability reports
  • Develop and deliver pricing training and enablement materials for sales teams
  • Evaluate and manage pricing tools and technologies
  • Lead pricing discussions and negotiations for key accounts or complex deals
  • Monitor regulatory changes and industry standards impacting pricing
  • Present pricing recommendations, analyses, and performance updates to senior leadership
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related quantitative field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic pricing, commercial finance, or analytical roles
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and statistical methods
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Deep understanding of pricing methodologies, value-based pricing, subscription models, and competitive pricing strategies
  • Proficiency with pricing software, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing multiple priorities

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Lead the development and execution of Intralinks' global pricing strategy, aligning with overall business objectives and market positioning.
  • Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer value assessments to identify pricing opportunities and threats.
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable pricing models and frameworks for new and existing products and services.
  • Collaborate closely with product management, sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure pricing strategies are effectively communicated, understood, and executed.
  • Analyze pricing performance metrics, sales data, and profitability reports to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategic adjustments.
  • Develop and deliver pricing training and enablement materials for sales teams to enhance their ability to articulate value and close deals effectively.
  • Evaluate and manage pricing tools and technologies to streamline processes and enhance decision-making capabilities.
  • Lead pricing discussions and negotiations for key accounts or complex deals, providing expert guidance and support to sales teams.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and industry standards that may impact pricing policies and strategies.
  • Present pricing recommendations, analyses, and performance updates to senior leadership.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related quantitative field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic pricing, commercial finance, or a related analytical role, preferably within a B2B SaaS or technology environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and statistical methods.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Deep understanding of pricing methodologies, value-based pricing, subscription models, and competitive pricing strategies.
  • Proficiency with pricing software, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Global pricing experience is highly desirable.
