Display Metrology System Engineer
Apple
Job Summary
The Display Metrology System Engineer at Apple will be responsible for designing and developing objective solutions for calibrating, characterizing, and testing display modules and other optical components for Apple products. This role involves working on metrology systems design, development, validation, and production deployment during the New Product Introduction (NPI) stage, with support from cross-functional Software/Hardware teams. The engineer will define calibration & test Engineering Requirement Specifications (ERS), develop industry-leading calibration and test methodologies, and design metrology system architecture. Responsibilities also include leading the development of systems and key components based on ERS, integrating Software/Hardware components, building prototypes for validation, optimizing test coverage, and leading vendors to develop and qualify systems for production requirements. Additionally, the role involves conducting Failure Analysis (FA) for hardware/software issues, deploying systems in factories during NPI, analyzing NPI data, creating build reports, and developing station bring-up and qualification methods.
