Job Description

As a Sales Manager, you will lead Toast's London sales organization, reporting to the RVP of Sales UKI. You will build and enable the sales team to acquire and onboard early customers, while also collaborating cross-functionally with product, operations, customer care, and marketing to ensure success in London.
Must have:
  • Hire, develop, motivate, and manage a quota-achieving field sales team.
  • Coach team on efficient discovery meetings, live demos, and solution crafting.
  • Enable team through walk-ins, prospecting, trade shows, and local partnerships to exceed quotas.
  • Partner with parallel teams to ensure expectations set during sales are met in delivery.
  • Utilise Salesforce and other technology to drive productivity and analyse conversion rates.
  • Accountable for new business growth across your assigned district.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in a hunting and closing role.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • Management experience building customer-facing, quota-achieving full cycle sales teams.
  • Proven track record of success.
  • Passionate with the ability to inspire and motivate those around them.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, creative, and flexible with the ability to perform well under pressure.

As a Sales Manager you will be the leader on our London sales organisation. Reporting to our RVP of Sales UKI, you will partner together to build and enable our sales team in acquiring and setting our early customers up for success. You will also be an excellent partner cross functionally with product, operations, customer care, customer success, marketing, enablement and other functions to help us learn and win in London.

About this roll\*: (Responsibilities)

  • Hire, develop, motivate, and manage a quota-achieving field sales team
  • Coach your team on how to conduct efficient discovery meetings, live demos, and craft a solution that best meets the prospective customer’s needs
  • Spend time enabling and empowering your team through walk-ins, prospecting, trade shows, and local business partnerships to help exceed quotas
  • Partner and collaborate with peers and parallel teams across the business to ensure that expectations set during the sales process are met in delivery
  • Strategically utilise Salesforce (our CRM) and other technology to drive productivity, report on forecast deal pipelines, and analyse conversion rates
  • Accountable for the new business growth across your assigned district
