WRI Brazil is seeking a Donations and Contracts Analyst Pleno to support the Restaura Biomas Program. This role involves analyzing and reviewing contracts with partners, donors, suppliers, and service providers, monitoring contract validity, deliverables, deadlines, closures, and audits. The analyst will also perform risk and compliance analysis, prepare and review budget proposals, update management tools, identify process improvements, and maintain system information. The position requires availability for national and international travel.

Must Have:
  • Analyze and review contracts with partners, donors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Monitor and track contracts with partners, donors, and funders.
  • Perform contractual analyses (compliance, risks, validity, deadlines, deliverables, closure, and audit).
  • Review and support teams in preparing budget proposals.
  • Maintain and improve processes.
  • Update tools and information in the organization's system.
  • Interact with internal and external partners.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Law, Economics, International Relations, Project Management, or Engineering.
  • Experience in contract analysis, risk and compliance, data, and budget proposals.
  • Technical skills in contract and project management, processes, and budgeting.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel), Outlook, IBM Cognos, TM1, Workday, DocuSign.

WRI Brazil is looking for a professional to work as a Donations and Contracts Analyst Pleno to support the Restaura Biomas Program, a project developed in partnership with Conservation International as a partner agency of the Global Environment Facility (GEF). WRI Brazil acts as the executing agency, while the Ministry of Environment (MMA) is the governmental partner, contributing to the implementation of the National Policy for Native Vegetation Recovery (PROVEG). The program aims to meet the requirements and objectives aligned with WRI Brazil's strategy and the Union for Restoration.

Restaura Biomas is part of the Integrated Ecosystem Restoration Program, a global GEF initiative covering 20 countries and with over 200 million dollars allocated to ecological restoration.

The professional will join the Donations & Contracts team, working on the analysis and review of contracts with partners, donors, suppliers, and service providers; monitoring and tracking the validity, deliverables, deadlines, closures, and contractual/project audits; risk and compliance analysis; preparation and review of budget proposals; updating of the area's management tools; identification and application of process and routine improvements; updating information in systems; archiving and relevant routines for the area. The position requires availability for eventual national and international travel.

  • Analysis and review of contracts with partners, donors, suppliers, and service providers;
  • Monitoring and tracking contracts with partners, donors, and funders;
  • Contractual analyses (compliance, risks, validity, deadlines, deliverables, closure, and audit);
  • Review and support teams in preparing budget proposals;
  • Maintenance and improvement of processes;
  • Updating of tools and information in the organization's system;
  • Interaction with internal and external partners;

Required qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Law, Economics, International Relations, Project Management, Engineering;
  • Experience in contract analysis, risk and compliance, data analysis, and budget proposal preparation;
  • Technical skills and knowledge in contract and project management, processes, and budgeting;
  • Behavioral skills: analytical, critical thinking, inquisitive, proactive, communicative, dynamic (hands-on), persistent, problem-solver, and attentive to deadlines and priorities;
  • Advanced English;
  • Experience with systems: Office Suite (intermediate/advanced Excel knowledge essential), Outlook, IBM Cognos, TM1, Workday, DocuSign;
