Job Description

This role involves analyzing project specifications in the oil and gas sector related to layout, 3D modeling, and drawings. The candidate will work closely with lead engineers on project drawings and models, review various types of drawings against 3D models and specifications, and perform other related duties including 3D modeling and model reviews. Knowledge of steel fabrication practices for static equipment, steel structures, and piping is essential, as is experience with drawing detailing and structural, piping, and equipment drawings. A good understanding of materials and working knowledge of codes and standards like ASME and AISC are also required. Excellent written and verbal communication in English is necessary.
Must have:
- Analyze oil and gas sector project specifications for layout, 3D modeling, drawings.
- Knowledge of steel fabrication practices for static equipment, structures, piping.
- Drawing detailing experience with structural, piping, equipment drawings.
- Review drawings against 3D models, calculations, specifications.
- 3D modeling and model review experience.
- Good knowledge of materials, ASME, AISC, and dimensional standards.
- Good written and verbal English communication.

Job Description- Drawing Checker
- Analyzes project specifications / requirements in oil and gas sector related to layout, 3d modelling and drawings.
- Knowledge of steel fabrication practices of static equipments, steel structures and piping.
- Relevant drawing detailing experience and knowledge of structural, piping and equipment drawings.
- Shall closely work with concerned lead engineer for day to day activities of project drawings and models.
- Shall be able to review general arrangement, foundation, fabrication drawings and piping isometrics with respect to 3D model, calculations, specifications and other associated inputs.
- Perform other related duties including of 3d modelling, drawing preparation and model reviews.
- Good knowledge of materials with working knowledge of the codes and standards like ASME,AISC and other dimensional standard.
- Good written and verbal communication in English.
Minimum Qualification
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- 10 to 15 years
