Job Summary
Zeeco is expanding its manufacturing operations and seeks a Manufacturing Project Engineer. This role involves serving as a link between product line engineers and manufacturing teams, translating product requirements into efficient manufacturing plans, driving projects from concept to completion, analyzing processes for improvements, and creating documentation for fabrication, assembly, and testing. The ideal candidate is a proactive, motivated individual excited to work across teams and see ideas move from design to production.
Must Have
- Serve as the key link between product line engineers and manufacturing teams
- Collaborate with engineering to understand product requirements and translate them into efficient manufacturing plans
- Drive projects from concept to completion, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and execution
- Analyze processes and recommend improvements to boost productivity, reduce costs, and enhance quality
- Create and maintain documentation for fabrication, assembly, and testing
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Interest or experience in mechanical design, fabrication, and hands-on problem solving
- Project management skills and a drive to take ownership
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, and AutoCAD
- Willingness to travel about 10 percent of the time
