Job Description

DreamWorks Animation is seeking an Asset Management Technician to set up, install, and relocate computer workstations and other technology hardware. The role involves performing software installations, assisting with equipment organization and cabling, and conducting daily physical inventory updates in the asset tracking database. Good To Have:
  • Experience upgrading computer hardware and software (SCCM and Jamf experience preferred)
  • Tracking and documenting work in a ticketing system
  • Working knowledge with Google and MS Office Suite
  • Cable management and inventory control experience
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Experience with hardware inventory and auditing
Must Have:
  • Set up, install, and relocate computer workstations, desktops, laptops and other technology hardware
  • Perform software installation deskside and using remote tools
  • Assist with organization and cabling of technology equipment, computer setups
  • Conduct daily physical inventory of assets and updates to the Asset tracking Database
  • Ensure assets are tracked and cataloged
  • Provide incremental daily ticket updates of ongoing work
  • Proficient with electronics and computer knowledge (Windows, Mac, and Linux/Unix OS experience)
  • Basic/intermediate hardware and software troubleshooting skills
  • Possess good mechanical ability and knowledge of computer hardware (SSD, CPU, GPU, KVM)
  • Detail oriented with the desire to learn, grow technically
  • Works well within a team environment as well as independently
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Flexible schedule and good writing/verbal skills
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis
  • Provide own transportation

Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from the DreamWorks designated worksite.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Hourly rate range: $24.00-$28.00
