The Challenge Ahead

Our teams develop the strategic vision of our products, run outstanding multi-channel campaigns, build global engagement across all touch points, develop global insights, and propel sales and global publishing. We understand the dynamic global landscape so we can bring relevant content, promotions, and help to players anywhere.
A fantastic opportunity, to join an award-winning internship and gain hands-on experience with the world-leading global interactive entertainment software company. Reporting to the Franchise Campaign team, you will help develop and activate outstanding marketing campaigns across the EA SPORTS FC franchise and important partnerships. You will bring enthusiasm, creativity and a point of view on all things relating to marketing and communications and be prepared to step up as an important contributor to the success of the team.
Responsibilities:
Planning
You will support Campaign Managers in the planning of our Go-To-Market plans
You will contribute to brainstorming sessions as an equal team member
You will invest in understanding the UK gaming market and its trends
Execution
You will help activate marketing, community and comms/PR plans across surrounding new game launches (press showcase, preview/review events, producer tours, conferences)
You will support EA's partnerships within the UK
You will review eCRM before being distributed to our network of players
Communications
You will attend UKI marketing meetings, bringing fresh ideas and perspective
You will coordinate internal meetings, taking notes and support on actions
Operations & Reporting
You will raise and receipt Purchase Orders with a focus on cost control
You will rack and coordinate game stock and merchandise requests
You will work with agencies on campaign performance tracking
Qualifications:
You are studying in the penultimate year of an undergraduate Bachelor's Degree programme
You are available to commence a full-time, 12 month placement in July 2024.
You are eligible to work in Guildford (UK) without the need for visa/relocation support
Desired Skills:
Passion, interest and knowledge of the video gaming and entertainment industry
Intermediate level knowledge of Photoshop
Understand the UK media landscape with an interest in social media
Enthusiasm, organisation and drive to manage dynamic workload and deadlines
