Role Summary


We seek a Curriculum Designer for English Language Arts (ELA) for grades K-8 to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and refining our ELA curriculum to meet and exceed educational standards in the United States. This role involves creating engaging, inclusive, and accessible learning materials tailored to a diverse range of learners.



Job Responsibilities


  • Design and develop ELA curriculum and instructional materials for grades K-5, ensuring alignment with Common Core State Standards and incorporating global practices in literacy education.
  • Regularly review and update the ELA curriculum to ensure relevance, effectiveness, and compliance with the latest educational research and pedagogical trends.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, designers and illustrators to create innovative lesson plans, assessments, and learning activities that cater to various learning styles.
  • Utilize feedback from educators and data analysis to continuously improve the curriculum, making it more engaging and effective for students.
  • Stay informed about current trends, research, and policies related to ELA instruction and integrate this knowledge into curriculum development.



Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of effective practices in English Language instruction.
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging and effective English Language curriculum and instructional materials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing educational needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to creating inclusive and accessible educational content for a diverse range of learners.
  • A thorough understanding of the art and science of how children learn and behave
