Job Description

The Electrician Technician will work directly with the CAS (Proximity Alert) system maintenance and installation team, providing direct support to client activities. This role ensures the full functionality of the product through expertise in installation and maintenance of the CAS system on equipment. Daily tasks include rigorous technical control of critical parameters, routine equipment activities, preventive detection of deviations, effective communication, reliable documentation, commitment to deadlines, technical adaptability, and excellence in safety.
Must have:
  • Rigorous technical control of critical parameters (GPS antenna precision, direction/movement signals, electrical signals).
  • Perform routine equipment activities (adjusting tools, fastening/unfastening covers, fixing masts, using drills, adjusting equipment/accessories, wiring connections, installing conduits/cables, installing electrical devices/alarms, installing safety/distribution components, preventing system damage, identifying maintenance needs, troubleshooting, maintaining workplace order/cleanliness).
  • Preventive detection of deviations to avoid production problems.
  • Effective communication with leaders for quick problem resolution.
  • Reliable documentation through activity photos and detailed reports.
  • Commitment to meeting deadlines and schedules.
  • Technical adaptability to work with diverse equipment and tools.
  • Excellence in safety, including complying with norms, filling forms, using/evaluating PPE/EPC, and inspecting equipment/tools.
Good to have:
  • Previous experience in maintenance of off-road equipment and/or light vehicles.
  • Technical or vocational course.

On-site position in the city of Canaã dos Carajás, Pará.

Who will you work with?

You will work directly with the CAS (Proximity Alert) system maintenance and installation team, interfacing and providing direct support to client-demanded activities, as per process needs. You will have frequent contact with regional CAS system leader(s), to whom you will report any technical or safety deviations, or resource or equipment problems.

Your expertise in the installation/maintenance activities of the CAS (Proximity Alert) system on equipment will ensure the full functionality of the product.

What do we want to know about you?

  • Completed High School.
  • Valid and completed electrician course.
  • Good interpersonal skills and willingness.
  • Previous experience in installation/maintenance of embedded systems.
  • Previous experience in maintenance of off-road equipment and/or light vehicles will be a differential (not mandatory).
  • Technical or vocational course will also be a differential.

What will your day-to-day be like?

  • Rigorous technical control - Your care with critical parameters will directly impact the system's final performance:
  • configuration of the precision of GPS antenna distances.
  • collection of direction and/or movement blocking signals from the vehicle.
  • collection of the vehicle's electrical signals.
  • Complementary and routine activities on equipment:
  • Adjust/calibrate electrical tools.
  • Screw/unscrew covers; Fix mast; Use drill.
  • Perform adjustments on equipment and/or accessories and components, according to occupational safety standards and/or specific legislation.
  • Handle electrical tools to execute electrical wiring connections in circuits, ensuring component compatibility.
  • Prepare and assemble conduits, run cables and connect electrical wiring through them.
  • Install electrical appliances and equipment for alarms.
  • Install safety and distribution components (switches/fuses, converters, circuit breakers, etc.).
  • Prevent system damage with routine inspection and replacement of damaged wiring and insulation cables, cleaning circuits, etc.
  • Identify maintenance needs.
  • Effectively execute appropriate troubleshooting procedures to identify risks or failures and repair or replace damaged units.
  • Maintain order and cleanliness at the workplace.
  • Preventive detection - Your attention to identifying deviations will prevent major production problems.
  • Effective communication - Your precise reporting to the leader will allow quick corrections of problems.
  • Reliable documentation – Register photos of activities and build detailed reports, in order to contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.
  • Commitment to deadlines - Your dedication to meeting schedules will keep production at the necessary pace.
  • Technical adaptability - Your ability to work with diverse equipment and tools will broaden the team's efficiency.
  • Excellence in safety – Comply with safety standards. Your commitment to safe procedures will protect you and your colleagues.
  • Fill out safety forms.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and collective protective equipment (CPE);
  • Evaluate the quality of personal protective equipment (PPE) and collective protective equipment (CPE);
  • Inspect condition of equipment and tools.
