Job Summary
Aptiv is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer - BSP to help shape the future of mobility by contributing to advanced safety systems, high-performance electrification, and data connectivity solutions. The role involves creating solutions that enable automakers to bring advanced capabilities globally, working towards a world with zero vehicle accidents, emissions, and ubiquitous wireless connectivity. This position is crucial in preventing accidents caused by human error and fostering sustainable mobility.
Must Have
- Prepare test specifications and plans
- Perform Static/Dynamic Code Analysis
- Conduct System testing
- Assist in Software integration activity
- Analyze customer requirements
- Convert Customer Requirements into Design and Code
- Analyze and resolve customer and internal reported issues
- 4 to 8 years of technical experience with B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Computer Science / Electronics & Communication
- Experience in C/C++ coding
- Experience with Board bring-up
- Experience in third party software design, integration, and debugging
- Linux Experience: U-Boot customization, Kernel driver development, building and optimizing kernels and root filesystems
- Driver expertise including serial, net, mtd, filesystem, PCI
- Linux Performance Optimization including boot time, memory and power management
- Linux application development and frameworks like Yocto
- QNX experience in embedded automotive software development
- Configure and validate QNX Neutrino based on BSP requirements
- Develop and modify product specific kernel drivers
- Configure QNX middleware
- Diagnose, analyze, and resolve QNX kernel and middleware issues
- Development with QNX Operating System and strong in embedded system concepts
- Resource management

Experience/Skill Requisites:
