Technical Lead OTA Engineering

Aptiv is seeking a Technical Lead for OTA Engineering to join their SDV functions team. This role involves integrating OTA SW Update and Data Acquisition within Aptiv's SDV, working with Automotive ARM-based SoCs running POSIX OS like Yocto Linux. The lead will define and set up test and release processes, develop test strategies for SWE4, SWE5, and SWE6, and implement test frameworks and requirements for the OTA Solution SW product.

Must Have

• 5+ years experience with Yocto build system, version control, test framework, and requirements, preferably in the Automotive industry
• Experience in DevOps: Yocto build system (cmake, bitbake, meta-layer), build pipeline, gtest, version control (git, svn)
• Experience in developing Embedded SW product for the automotive industry, with good knowledge of ASPICE and SW Product life cycle
• Proficient in Embedded C/C++ and ARM Cortex A/R/M Based SoC (e.g., NXP S32G, Jacinto7, Qualcomm, NVIDIA, Samsung)
• Experience in Integration test development and Unit testing
• Must have experience with Yocto Linux and QNX
• Proficiency with project management tool: Jira
• Good communication and analyzing skills
• Requirement management using Polarion or DOORS
• Knowledge of OTA SW update

Good to Have

• Experience in Rust
• Experience in VxWorks
• Experience in WindRiver Studio
• Knowledge of communication protocols: UDS / DoIP, SomeIP
• Experience in SW virtualization: Hypervisor, container

Role Description:

• SDV functions: Integration of the OTA SW Update and Data Acquisition in the Aptiv SDV
• A member of the OTA Solutions development team, you will be working on Automotive ARM based SoCs chipset running POSIX OS (e.g.: Yocto Linux)
• You will be be responsible for the DevOps parts of the project and the testing of the OTA Solution for the different OS. This include:
• Defining and setting-up the test and release process for the OTA Solution SW product.
• Defining the test strategy for SWE4, SWE5 and SWE6. Responsible of the implementation of the test framework and requirements.

Technical Skills:

Must have:

• 5+ experience working with Yocto build system, Version control, test framework and requirements. Preferably within the Automotive industry
• Degree: A graduate in B.E/B.TechME/ M.Tech (Software/Electricals/Electronics/ Instrumentation/Information technology/telecommunication)
• Experience in DevOps: Yocto build system (cmake, bitbake, meta-layer), build pipeline, gtest, version control (git, svn)
• Experience in developing Embedded SW product for the automotive industry, good knowledge of the process (ASPICE) and SW Product life cycle.
• Proficient in Embedded C/C++ and ARM Cortex A/R/M Based SoC (like NXP S32G, Jacinto7, Qualcomm, NVIDIA, Samsung)
• Experience in Integration test development
• Unit testing
• Must have experience with Yocto Linux and QNX.
• Project management tool: Jira

Optional Experience in:
