Join Continental's Automotive group, soon to be AUMOVIO, a leader in electronic products and mobility solutions. This internship involves participating in the development of Continental's software platforms for automotive electronic control units, providing hardware abstraction. You will contribute to perfecting platforms used in Body Control Units, Telematics, Instrument Clusters, and ADAS Sensorics, aiming to minimize costs, increase reliability, and ensure safety. Collaborate with an international team and see your work impact global mobility.
Must have:
  • Recent graduates or students enrolled in final years of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programs in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Control Theory, Mechatronics, or related technical fields
  • Basic proficiency in C/C++ programming
  • Understanding of microcontrollers, digital/analog electronics, and embedded systems fundamentals
  • Good written and spoken English language skills
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of automotive protocols (i.e. CAN communication)
  • Familiarity with debugging tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, CANoe)
  • Understanding of automotive software architecture (such as AUTOSAR)
  • Knowledge of Linux OS, shell scripting, building tools (i.e. Cmake, Make)

Job Description

To be part of our team means to participate in the development process of Continental's software platforms for automotive electronic control units, giving application developers a complete hardware abstraction. Our platforms were perfected through multiple variants and generations for more than 15 years in Body Control Units, Telematics, Instrument Clusters and ADAS Sensorics being standardized across these products, having as a goal to minimize development costs, increase reliability and to ensure safety of drivers, passengers and pedestrians alike. You will collaborate with a strong international team and see the impact of your work on streets around the globe.

Qualifications

  • Recent graduates or students enrolled in their final years of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programs in areas of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Control Theory, Mechatronics, or related technical fields
