Job Description

The role involves being an expert in calculations, answering questions related to CBOM, component, and product cost data, and understanding internal EMS team systems. Key responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of data for item master and product cost reviews. This includes managing quarterly item master reviews, implementing price changes with contract manufacturers, and maintaining correct data in systems like EMS team site, Agile, and SAP. The analyst will also support and validate data for various reviews such as PPV, special charge, E&O, and RMA cost reviews, as well as analyzing and validating component and product costs and identifying cost reduction opportunities.
Must have:
  • Expert in calculations for cost data
  • Expert in EMS internal systems
  • Responsible for data accuracy and timeliness
  • Manage quarterly item master review process
  • Maintain correct data in EMS, Agile, SAP
  • Support and validate data for reviews
  • Analyze and validate component/product costs
Good to have:
  • University degree in statistics, computer science, business administration, supply chain management, or cost management
  • Very good analytical, conceptual, math, and computer skills
  • Familiar with ERP system, Agile, and Microsoft Excel

Principal Tasks:

  • To be an expert in calculations who answers CBOM, component and product cost data questions

  • To be an expert in internal system within EMS team

  • Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the data used in item master review and product cost review

  • Manage and maintain quarterly item master review process including component/product price, inventory buydown/up, VPA/Non-VPA price change implementation with CMs

  • Maintain correct data in systems (EMS team site, Agile and SAP) by ensuring the collection and computation of correct and complete data

  • Support and validate the data for PPV review, special charge review, E&O review and RMA cost review

  • Analyst and validate the data for components and product cost, cost reduction opportunities and file in good place


Skills / Qualifications / Training / Experience:

  • University degree in statistics, computer science, business administration, supply chain management, or cost management

  • ~5 years of work experience in Telecom/Networking, or electronics manufacturing Industry

  • Very good analytical, conceptual, math and computer-literate skills

  • Business-fluent English

  • Familiar with ERP system, Agile and Microsoft excel
