Engineer Internship: Automation & Generative AI (M/F)

This Engineer Internship at Valeo's R&D center in Créteil focuses on automation and Generative AI within the Valeo Brain division, a global leader in driving assistance systems. The intern will be instrumental in transforming processes by automating repetitive tasks for Technical Project Managers, leveraging powerful AI models like Gemini 3 Pro to generate Google Apps Scripts for reporting. Additionally, the role involves developing a "Maturity Tracker" web tool, using AI to create user-friendly interfaces and backends for tracking Engineering Gates, aiming to replace manual Excel checklists and significantly enhance efficiency in advanced driver-assistance systems development.

Must Have

• Analyze current reporting flows (Excel/Slides).
• Prompt AI to generate Google Apps Script to connect Jira to Google Slides.
• Deploy automations for generating project KPIs weekly without human intervention.
• Use AI to generate a user-friendly web interface (HTML/CSS/JS) for the Maturity Tracker.
• Create AI-assisted backend (Python or Apps Script) to process maturity data.
• Structure complex prompts to obtain functional and optimized code (Prompt Engineering).

Your missions:

Mission A: "Zero Click" Repetitive Automation

Your goal is to eliminate manual tasks for TPMs (Technical Project Managers).

• Analyze current reporting flows (Excel/Slides).
• Prompt the AI to generate Google Apps Script that connects Jira to Google Slides.
• Deploy automations that generate project KPIs every Monday morning without human intervention.

Mission B: Development of the "Maturity Tracker"

Design a web tool for tracking Engineering Gates.

• Use AI to generate a "User-Friendly" and modern Web interface (HTML/CSS/JS).
• Create the backend (Python or Apps Script) assisted by AI to process maturity data.
• The objective: an intuitive tool that replaces cumbersome Excel checklists.

About you:

• Education: Engineering School (Bac+4/5) - Computer Science, Data, or General Tech.
• Key Skill - Prompt Engineering: You know how to structure complex prompts to obtain functional and optimized code on the first try.
• Code Review Capability: You master Python and JS sufficiently to review, correct, and assemble code blocks generated by AI.
• Mindset: Pragmatic and results-oriented. For you, manually coding a standard function is a waste of time.
• Technical Skills: Google Apps Script, Python, Automation, AI, LLM, R&D, Project Management, Efficiency, Low-Code.
