Fairmont Udaipur Palace is seeking an Engineering Coordinator to join their pre-opening team. The role involves day-to-day secretarial tasks such as typing, filing, and managing correspondence. Key responsibilities include distributing documents, arranging appointments, preparing reports, maintaining equipment logs, and monitoring stock levels. The coordinator will ensure the tracking of par stock and fast/slow moving items for efficient store operations. They will also maintain log books and record sheets, ensure the quality of products and materials, and contribute ideas for product improvements and waste reduction.
Must have:
- Day-to-day secretarial work: typing, filing, faxes, telephone.
- Distribute documents and information promptly.
- Arrange internal and external appointments.
- Assist in preparing report documents.
- Maintain and file equipment operation log sheets.
- Record stock movement and report irregularities.
- Implement tracking system for stock levels.
- Ensure log books and record sheets are updated.
- Maintain product and material quality.
- Contribute ideas for product improvements.
- Monitor and report on plans to reduce waste.

Job Description
- Day-to-day secretarial work including: typing, filing, telexes, faxes, telephone, etc
- Ensures the distribution of documents, letters, information, etc on a timely basis.
- Arranges internal and external appointments with internal customers, suppliers and third-party inspectors.
- Assists in the preparation of all report documents.
- Maintain and file all equipment operation log sheets.
- Record on a daily, weekly and monthly basis all items of stock which have been signed out of the stores for use by the department and report any irregularities to the department’s management.
- Ensure a tracking system is implemented to monitor par stock levels and fast/slow moving items to enable the stores department to operate efficiently at all times.
- To ensure all log books, record sheets and dairy of events are correctly completed and kept up to date.
- To ensure the quality of the product and material is of the best possible standard
- Continuously search for new ideas and product improvements to ensure that our colleague demands are met.
- Monitor and report on progress of any plans or ideas implemented to reduce the department's wastage of resources.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year experience working in a related field, preferably in a hospitality or similar environment.
