Must have:
  • Set up test bay fixtures and required facilities to test chambers
  • Install correct software versions in test bay
  • Check HX/Chiller fill levels, PCW flow, communication cable functionality, MOXA addresses, and process kit audits
  • Lead the procurement and maintenance of test equipment
  • Manage test tickets for new products on NPI and volume manufacturing lines
  • Troubleshoot and document resolution for new product test tickets
  • Assemble new test cables and jumpers for chambers, gen racks, and peripheral equipment
  • Assist MEs in carrying out projects to upgrade, deploy, repair, and correct test bays and fixtures
  • Document and provide important feedback to eliminate future test issues
  • Assist with rework activity, such as mechanical repair, related to DMRs or part number changes
  • Experience in testing and troubleshooting complex chambers without engineering support
  • Proficient in researching and resolving issues
  • Able to communicate complex information
  • Able to work independently without regular supervision

Key Responsibilities

NPI Test Bay Setup and Preventative Maintenance

Sets up test bay fixtures and required facilities to test chambers. Installs correct software versions in test bay (after consulting ME) before chamber moves into test. Check HX/Chiller fill levels, PCW flow, communication cable functionality, MOXA addresses, and process kit audits. Lead the procurement and maintenance of test equipment.

New Product Test Ticket Management

Manage test tickets for new products on both the NPI and volume manufacturing lines, including troubleshooting, working with NPI and NPT Manufacturing Engineers, and documenting the resolution.

Test Cable Assembly

Assembles new test cables and jumpers for chambers, gen racks, and peripheral equipment.

Supporting Manufacturing Engineers

Assist MEs in carrying out projects to upgrade, deploy, repair, and correct test bays and fixtures. Document and provide important feedback to eliminate future test issues.

Rework

Able to assist with rework activity, such as mechanical repair, related to DMRs or part number changes.

Other Requirements: This is a physically demanding position that often requires standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, the use of hand and power tools, and driving or operating heavy machinery including forklifts.

Additionally, because this position will involve working in a clean room, the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields may be required.

This position requires experience in testing and troubleshooting complex chambers without engineering support. Must be proficient in researching and resolving issues, communicating complex information, and must be able to work independently without regular supervision.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
