Job Description

The Enterprise Account Executive will manage the full sales cycle for enterprise accounts, from lead generation and qualification through negotiation, closing, and renewals. The role involves developing and executing strategic plans to meet new business targets and grow the customer base. The executive will also navigate complex organizations, build relationships with executive sponsors, conduct discovery sessions, deliver presentations, negotiate agreements, and collaborate with various teams to ensure customer success. The role requires maintaining detailed records and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders to drive positive ROI and long-term partnerships.
Must have:
  • 7+ years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience
  • Proven track record of closing $100k+ ACV deals
  • Experience in field-based enterprise software sales
  • Ability to sell into C-Level executives and stakeholders
  • Experience in complex solution sales and closing large deals
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • A builder mentality who thrives in collaborative environments
  • Self-motivated and able to manage tasks independently
  • Ability to operate within the gray and find creative solutions
Good to have:
  • Experience as an early sales hire or sales leader at a fast-growing start-up
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of SaaS products

About The Role:

We are looking for a motivated Enterprise Account Executive with an entrepreneurial and building spirit to join our GTM Sales Team. You will be instrumental in helping build pipeline, generate revenue, and expand our most strategic customers. As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will play an important role in defining/iterating on our sales motions, providing customer feedback to help shape our roadmap, and generating revenue to grow our sales business. Notion is an in person company, and currently requires its employees to come to the office for three Anchor Days (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday).

What You'll Achieve:

  • Manage the full sales cycle for enterprise accounts, from lead generation and qualification through negotiation, closing, and renewals.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to meet new business targets and grow our customer base.
  • Navigate complex organizations to identify and build relationships with executive sponsors and champions.
  • Understand customers' business objectives to conduct effective discovery sessions and present tailored solutions.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contractual terms and pricing to secure win-win agreements.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure customer success.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM tools.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to drive positive ROI and long-term partnerships.

Skills You'll Need to Bring:

  • 7+ years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience with 2+ years in Enterprise, preferably at a fast-growing software company.
  • Proven track record of closing $100k+ ACV deals and exceeding sales targets.
  • Extensive field-based enterprise software sales experience, selling solutions into large enterprise accounts.
  • Proven ability to sell into C-Level (ideally CIO/CTO) and work with stakeholders across various lines of business.
  • Experience in complex solution sales and consistently closing large figure deals.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • A builder mentality who thrives in collaborative environments.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage tasks and projects independently.
  • Ability to operate within the gray and find creative or out-of-the-box solutions when faced with ambiguity.

Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco or New York City, the estimated range for total on target earnings (including base salary and on target incentive pay) for this role is $250,000 - $325,000 per year.
