Trend Micro is seeking a New Logo Account Manager for its DACH business unit in Munich. This role focuses on driving new customer acquisition in the private sector, acting as a trusted advisor for complex security challenges. Responsibilities include managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, leveraging data, and collaborating with internal teams and partners to achieve and exceed sales quotas. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B technology sales, strong negotiation skills, and a passion for overachieving targets.
Must have:
  • Define and execute new customer acquisition plans to meet and exceed quota.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from start to finish, winning new accounts and developing customer relationships.
  • Work with Technical & Customer Success teams to onboard customers.
  • Leverage sales & marketing data and prospecting tools to develop opportunities.
  • Collaborate with SDR, lead generation, channel, and marketing teams.
  • Co-sell and strategize with partners for rapid growth.
  • Provide management with feedback, territory business plans, and industry focus.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and ensure close plan accuracy utilizing MEDDPICC.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and reports on activity and sales performance.
  • Effectively engage and build cooperative relationships with sales resources and executives.

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a talented New Logo Account Manager to drive new logo acquisition across the Trend Micro DACH business unit. This is more than a sales role — it's an opportunity to become a trusted advisor to organizations tackling complex security challenges in a fast-changing world.

Our DACH business unit is on an exciting growth path, with a team of professionals spread across the country. We are a multi-disciplinary sales organization made up of account managers in various roles, including volume, new logo acquisition, enterprise, public sector, and strategic accounts. In addition, we’re supported by a strong team of SDRs, Marketing Managers, Channel/Partner Managers, and Sales Operations Managers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Working closely with the Commercial Leadership team, you will define and execute new customer acquisition plans to meet and exceed quota through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing small & medium sized enterprise sales opportunities with target accounts in the private sector.
  • You will be responsible for the whole sales cycle from start to finish – winning new accounts & developing the customer relationship and working with Technical & Customer Success teams to help onboard and take them on the Trend Micro journey.
  • Leverage sales & marketing data, use prospecting tools to develop sales opportunities, open doors into new accounts and drive customer engagement.
  • Work closely with SDR & lead generation / channel and marketing team to turn leads into customer opportunities and sales action.
  • Co-sell and strategize with partners to enable rapid growth.
  • Provide management with feedback, territory business plans and industry focus to drive market opportunity/share and identification of new business opportunities.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and ensure close plan accuracy utilising MEDDPICC.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and reports on activity and sales performance as and when required by management.
  • Effectively engage and build cooperative relationships with sales resources: SE, Channel, Marketing and specialist sales team and executives as required.

What You Bring:

  • Proven track record of new logo attainment within the B2B Technology sector – cyber security is an advantage, but not essential.
  • High levels of achievement against quota and experience developing new relationships with senior level executive level customers.
  • Proven ability to articulate a portfolio sale across products, solutions and services.
  • Can demonstrate strong sales skills and a high level of technical and business acumen in both our industry and industry being sold into.
  • Direct field sales experience working with end user accounts.
  • Able to work with cross functional teams to drive business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales quotas in target market by selling and closing complex solutions to end customers.
  • Strong negotiation & closing skills – able to engage, think on your feet and present business value to prospective customers.
  • Results-oriented with a passion for overachieving sales targets.
  • A self-starter, very self-sufficient and confident in the ability to succeed in this new role.
