Responsibilities include leading and developing a sales team, creating comprehensive sales strategies to meet revenue targets, building strong client relationships with key stakeholders, analyzing market trends and competitive landscapes, forecasting sales performance using data-driven insights, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing high-stakes negotiations and contracts.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our North America Large Hedge Fund sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives. You will leverage your extensive experience in financial services and technology sales to lead a team of sales professionals, cultivate key client relationships, and expand our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets, aligning sales objectives with overall business goals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in target organizations, ensuring exceptional client service and satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and client needs to identify opportunities for growth and inform product development.
  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Utilize data-driven insights to forecast sales performance, track metrics, and provide regular reporting to senior management.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with marketing, product management, and customer success teams to ensure a unified approach to client engagement and service delivery.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead high-stakes negotiations and manage the contracting process to close deals effectively while ensuring alignment with corporate policies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the financial services and technology sectors.
  • Exceptional understanding of hedge funds, capital markets and the fintech competitive landscape 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform sales strategies and drive decision-making.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and motivate teams, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration and achievement.
  • A results-driven mindset with a history of meeting or exceeding aggressive sales targets.

Salary Range: $180,000 - $210,000
