  • Protect focus time: create balance between accessibility and deep work

Executive Assistant @ Autodesk

As Executive Assistant, you’ll help amplify that impact—ensuring leadership time is spent on the highest-value priorities, the team feels connected, and the brand work lands with excellence.

Position Overview

We’re looking for an Executive Assistant to support Autodesk’s VP of Brand & Creative. This is a high-impact role where you’ll be the right hand to a senior leader driving the global evolution of Autodesk’s brand. The pace is fast, the work is dynamic, and the expectations are high—you’ll help make sure the important things land, the small details aren’t missed, and the big picture keeps moving forward.

This is not a traditional administrative role—it’s about being a trusted partner. You’ll help create space for creative and strategic thinking by making sure logistics, communication, and organization are handled with excellence. You’ll be plugged into the heartbeat of the brand and creative team, and you’ll have visibility across Autodesk’s marketing leadership.

We are open to candidates who are US-based and open to a hybrid role with periodic in-office collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the VP’s schedule—balancing internal team needs, cross-functional leadership, external partners, and personal commitments
  • Anticipate needs—see around corners and take proactive steps to make sure deadlines, meetings, and follow-ups happen smoothl
  • Handle communication flow—draft, filter, and prioritize emails, Slack messages, and other correspondence with clarity and discretion
  • Support leadership routines—prep materials, capture takeaways, track action items, and keep projects moving forward
  • Partner on team culture—help plan offsites, team meetings, recognition moments, and ensure the Brand & Creative org feels connected
  • Coordinate travel, logistics, and expenses with precision
  • Protect focus time—create the right balance between accessibility and deep work
  • Travel Requirement --Up to 30% travel for meetings, conferences and team events

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: 5–7+ years supporting senior executives in fast-moving organizations (creative, marketing, or tech background a plus)
  • Communication skills: Clear, professional, and adaptable—able to write in a voice that reflects leadership
  • Organization: Highly detail-oriented, thrives on bringing structure to complexity, and can prioritize ruthlessly
  • Judgment: Discretion with sensitive information and confidence in decision-making
  • Style: Calm under pressure, anticipatory, solutions-oriented, and someone who naturally builds trust
  • Tech-savvy: Comfortable with Google Workspace, Slack, expense systems, and scheduling tools; curious about new tools that can make things more efficient
  • Culture fit: Someone who’s collaborative, creative-minded, and understands the balance of urgency and quality

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $73,400 and $126,500. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
