Job Description

This role involves end-to-end production management of a game title, working closely with the Game Director to align vision with execution. Key responsibilities include shaping production strategy, owning budget, roadmap, schedule, and scope, while proactively identifying risks and ensuring team clarity and morale. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in game development production, including leading projects and teams, with strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • End-to-end production management of game titles.

  • Maintain stable information flow across stakeholders.
  • Minimum 10 years in game development industry.
  • Minimum 2 years as Production Lead with one launch.
  • Experience managing projects with 20+ developers.
  • Proven ability to lead other producers.
  • Expertise in shaping production processes and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in creating and tracking budgets and schedules.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Deep understanding of game creation and quality factors.
  • Proactive and decisive in project priorities.

Job description

Your responsibilities:

  • end-to-end production management of a developed title including:
  • working alongside the Game Director to ensure his vision is translated into a game that meets agreed expectations while being created within given constraints.
  • shaping the production strategy and leading the execution.
  • owning the project budget, roadmap, schedule and scope.
  • tracking main project parameters, proactively identifying risks and looking for solutions.
  • arranging the work environment with a goal of maximizing clarity, time progress, quality and team morale.
  • ensuring predictability, stability and proper information flow within the team and across all stakeholders.
  • proactively caring for the project, team, velocity, and agreed goals even when it’s challenging.
  • listening, observing and drawing conclusions.

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • highly communicative, well organized, and fast thinking.
  • at least 10 years of professional experience in the game development industry.
  • at least 2 years of experience in Production Lead position with at least one launch.
  • experience managing projects of at least 20 developers.
  • experience leading other producers.
  • experience in shaping processes and methodologies to meet project needs.
  • ability to create and track budgets and schedules from start to end.
  • strong analytical skills - you are not afraid of Excel and can calculate stuff.
  • good understanding of how games are created and what makes them good.
  • self-motivated, proactive and able to take decisions based on game priorities.
  • easy to work with for all disciplines and levels.
  • JIRA expertise is a plus.
