Job Summary
The Senior Data Analyst, GPS will convert operational data into decisions and understanding, reporting to the Analytics Manager. This role involves collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to define key metrics, identify high-value opportunities to enhance stability, efficiency, and developer productivity, and implement improvements across GameKit. The analyst will lead operational metrics, produce reports, create dashboards, build analytical models, analyze tool performance, and identify friction patterns to recommend process improvements, operating with a product-mindset.
Must Have
- 8+ years in operations analytics, data analysis and platform insights
- Experience partnering with product and engineering teams
- Experience translating complex operational findings into clear recommendations
- Analytical modelling and data storytelling skills
- Experience building dashboards and working with BI tools such as Power BI, Data Bricks and SQL
- Experience deploying and educating partners on the use of Gen AI tools within data solutions
- Familiarity with AI/ML evaluation metrics and analytics for AI-assisted workflows
- Lead and evolve operational metrics that measure maturity, stability, efficiency, and risk across GameKit platforms
- Produce and present required reporting, create dashboards including insights to drive action
- Build analytical models that guide prioritization and investment
- Analyze performance of purpose built tools, measuring accuracy, automation Return on investment, and data quality
- Identify friction patterns across teams and recommend process, tooling, or workflow improvements

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our analytics team in Vancouver BC, supporting the Game Production Solutions(GPS) team. GPS, part of Game Developer Experience (GDX) at Electronic Arts builds solutions for Game Teams and Creators, empowering them to make an outsized impact with technology.
Role Overview
The Senior Data Analyst, GPS is responsible for converting operational data into decisions, clarity, and understanding and will report to the Analytics Manager. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering and Operations teams to define important metrics for impact. Your role, as an individual contributor, will focus on identifying high-value opportunities to enhance stability, efficiency, and developer productivity. You will prioritize and implement these improvements across the GameKit. This is a role for someone who can navigate quickly and operate with a product-mindset.
Responsibilities
You will lead and evolve the operational metrics that measure maturity, stability, efficiency, and risk across GameKit platforms.
You will produce and present required reporting, create dashboards including insights to drive action, and build analytical models that guide prioritization and investment.
You will analyze performance of purpose built tools, measuring accuracy, automation Return on investment, and data quality.
You will identify friction patterns across teams and recommend process, tooling, or workflow improvements. Digging deep into priority areas to solve business challenges is your passion.
You will guide junior data analysts in creating scalable data solutions and formulating metrics frameworks.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in operations analytics, data analysis and platform insights
- Experience partnering with product and engineering teams
- Experience translating complex operational findings into clear recommendations
- Analytical modelling and data storytelling skills
- Experience building dashboards and working with BI tools such as Power BI, Data Bricks and SQL

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
- British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$91,100 - $126,900 CAD
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
