Executive Producer, Experience Design & XR

Nexus Studios creates multi-dimensional story-driven experiences across real and digital spaces, XR/spatial computing, real-time, AI, experiential, and gaming platforms. We are innovation partners to leading tech cos, brands, artists, and IPs from the worlds of entertainment, music, and sport, working closely with them to navigate the future of entertainment. Nexus is looking for an ambitious new business focused Executive Producer to drive growth in XR and Experience Design. You will identify and generate opportunities with new and established clients, primarily across North America, driven by your industry knowledge and passion for world-class creative and technical excellence.

You will work closely with our EPs across divisions to drive strategy and action to develop our offer across client types, sectors and capabilities. You will work closely with our close knit LA based team as well as our production HQ in London.

This is also a creatively-led remit, supporting the highest calibre talent and driving creative idea development and presentation, collaborating with Directors, Creative Directors and Creative Technology Directors. You will have an entrepreneurial and positive approach, being opportunity-driven whilst balancing the creative and business aspects of our offer and goals.

You will be passionate about new technologies, experience design and XR and enjoy developing multi-faceted solutions. You will be responsive to the changing dynamics of how brands use digital, entertainment and experiences to interact with audiences and adapt to evolving market needs and company goals.

This is a results-oriented sales position with the goal of driving sustainable financial growth for the Studio.

What you’ll be doing:

• Nurture new and long lasting client relationships - setting up meetings, generating leads and building understanding of client needs and how our capabilities align with their goals
• Lead client pitches with creative and technical directors and producers, ensuring the right team is on board to win the business
• Expand business opportunities with existing clients across the business and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
• Maintain client relationships throughout projects, including support production through MSA and contracting
• Research market to inform strategy, including expansion areas, new markets, trends, clients, partnerships and services
• Collaborate with teams in LA and London including across marketing, creative, tech, animation and production
• Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events

What you’ll bring:

• Extensive direct-to-client experience and relationships
• 5+ years experience as an EP, business development or similar role
• Strategic and entrepreneurial approach
• Understanding of experience design and XR space and digital product development requirements
• Curiosity and eagerness to develop opportunities that harness our character, animation and real time capabilities

Location:

This position is open to North America, and being commutable to our LA office is a benefit. Our clients are primarily located throughout the US, and the bulk of production is run through our London HQ.
