Job Description

PwC is seeking an experienced financial auditor for its Montpellier office. This role involves evolving financial audit practices through automation and AI, focusing on high-value-added missions. The auditor will collaborate with the Management Group, conduct statutory audits, supervise junior auditors, manage client relationships, and undertake special assignments for prominent clients in diverse sectors like banking, transport, chemistry, and retail, enhancing technical and sectoral expertise.
Must have:
  • Collaborate directly with the Management Group on your client portfolio
  • Participate in statutory audit missions: planning, analytical review of cycles, and final report production
  • Supervise, evaluate, and coach junior auditors on site
  • Manage and develop client relationships
  • Work on high-value-added special missions with renowned clients
  • Accompany clients in varied sectors and be close to strategic issues
  • Hold a degree from a business school, engineering school, or university
  • Have at least 2 years of significant experience in financial audit within a firm
  • Enjoy teamwork and have a strong desire to coach, transmit, and share
  • Be committed to building trust with clients
  • Be fluent in English
  • Be adaptable and willing to travel across France to meet clients

If you join one of our offices in Marseille, Montpellier in the South region and the approximately 200 employees who work across all PwC business expertise (Audit, Consulting and PwC Avocats), you will have the chance to support the region's major emblematic clients. What you can expect from the mission:

  • You collaborate directly with the Management Group on your client portfolio,
  • You participate in statutory audit missions: planning of the different stages of the missions, control of the analytical review of the different cycles and production of final reports,
  • You supervise junior auditors on the ground, evaluate them and coach them throughout your missions,
  • You manage and develop client relationships,
  • You intervene on high value-added special missions with renowned players and thus develop your technical and sectoral expertise.
  • You will have the chance to support clients in varied sectors and will be at the heart of strategic issues.

  • You have a degree from a business school, engineering school or university.
  • You naturally have significant experience of at least 2 years acquired in financial audit within a firm.
  • You enjoy teamwork and above all: coaching, transmitting and sharing is your leitmotiv!

  • Yes, your English is fluent, because your daily life at PwC is open to the world
