Haleon is recruiting an Expert Strategy and Professional Relations Manager. Reporting to the French Marketing Director, this role involves developing and implementing marketing strategies to boost healthcare professional recommendations for Haleon brands, ensuring annual revenue targets are met. The manager will also support the medical sales force, contribute to activation plans, and supervise Professional Healthcare Relations Marketing Managers. Key responsibilities include leading execution of expert strategies, managing the expert budget, and fostering effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners. The role also involves team leadership, talent development, and influencing internal and external stakeholders to optimize medical visit strategies and professional partnerships.
Must have:
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to accelerate healthcare professional recommendations for Haleon brands.
  • Achieve annual revenue targets.
  • Support and ensure adherence of the medical sales force to company guidelines.
  • Contribute to activation plan construction as a key contact for Marketing & Expert Direction.
  • Supervise Professional Healthcare Relations Marketing Managers.
  • Evaluate and develop team competencies.
  • Define and adapt local expert strategy in line with global strategy.
  • Ensure excellent local execution and amplification of expert strategies.
  • Evaluate and optimize strategy performance using relevant measurement tools.
  • Manage the expert budget and foster a performance culture.
  • Develop effective long-term cooperation with the Regional Director.
  • Work closely with marketing & activation managers for synergy.
  • Ensure coordination between teams and field expert teams/partners.
  • Carry company values and engage the team.
  • Identify development needs for teams.
  • Contribute to organizational evolution by optimizing resource allocation.
  • Instill Haleon's change dynamic and mobilize the Regional Director.
  • Contribute to identifying and developing high-potential collaborators.
  • Influence internal global and regional teams on strategic orientations.
  • Prepare and participate in national congresses.
  • Maintain regular contact and engagement with dental schools and universities.
  • Build relationships with Key Opinion Leader dentists, pharmacists, and pediatricians.
  • Develop partnerships with professional dental associations and patient associations.
  • Actively participate in expert boards for pain and respiratory categories.
  • Master's degree (Bac +5), ideally a dual commercial/scientific curriculum.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory.
  • Excellent knowledge of healthcare professionals and their expectations.
  • Fluent English.

We are currently recruiting an Expert Strategy and Professional Relations Manager (M/F).

Reporting to the French Marketing Director and in coordination with the Regional Expert Director, your missions are:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to accelerate healthcare professional recommendations for Haleon brands to achieve the annual revenue target.
  • Support and encourage the medical sales force's adherence to the Company's orientations and ensure their implementation.
  • Contribute to the construction of activation plans by being the privileged contact for the Marketing & Expert Department and by supervising the Professional Healthcare Relations Marketing Managers.
  • Evaluate and develop the skills of your collaborators.

Execution Leader:

  • Be proactive with the Marketing Director and the Regional Director for defining medical visit priorities in line with the brand and expert strategy.
  • Define and adapt the local expert strategy, in accordance with the global strategy, as well as the challenges and means for the medical visit teams, to ensure the implementation of the plan.
  • Ensure the breakdown of challenges and means to the medical visit teams, to ensure the implementation of the plan.
  • Ensure excellent local execution and amplification of expert strategies to strengthen expert recommendations.
  • Evaluate and optimize the performance of the implemented strategy via relevant measurement tools and share proposals for qualitative and quantitative corrective plans with the Regional Director and the Marketing & Expert Director.
  • Manage the expert budget and instill a performance culture in your team to aim to increase the effectiveness of investments.
  • Develop an effective long-term relationship and cooperation with the Regional Director to ensure the proper application of the expert strategy in the field and the proper feedback of field needs to the BU.
  • Work in close collaboration with marketing & activation managers to ensure synergy across all levers of the marketing mix.
  • Ensure good coordination between your teams and the field expert teams & partners (OTC, Mass Market, marketing).

Manager Leader:

  • Through your exemplary conduct, embody the company's values and ensure your team adheres to this culture (leadership, responsible autonomy, ethics, exchange and transversality, open communication...).
  • Identify the needs and development means necessary for the development of your teams and support the implementation of development plans.
  • Engage and animate your team as well as the field teams by embodying the company's values and making them adhere to your vision.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the organization by optimizing the adequacy of resources to challenges within the expert network.
  • Instill Haleon's change dynamic and mobilize the Regional Director on its implementation.
  • Contribute to identifying and developing high-potential collaborators.

Influencer Leader:

  • With the Marketing & Expert Director, contribute to the evolution/optimization of the Medical Visit strategy; identify appropriate means to support change and encourage team adherence to the company's strategic orientations (e.g., Optimization of sampling levels provided to healthcare professionals...).
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team the development of necessary means for success.
  • Implement with the Regional Director and the Professional Healthcare Relations Marketing Managers local plans for oral care brands, focusing on experts (dental surgeons, faculty teachers, dental surgery students, dental assistants, opinion leaders, and others) aligned with local brand strategy.
  • Understand, support, challenge, and integrate the challenges and strategies of the Marketing Department.
  • Influence global and regional internal teams in strategic orientations by ensuring active presence and participation in international meetings and sharing best practices within the Northern Europe BU.
  • Prepare and participate in national congresses in the relevant categories.
  • Ensure regular contacts and the best engagement in university schools and dental assistant schools (16 Faculties).
  • Create relationships with KEE (Key Opinion Leader) dentists, pharmacists, and pediatricians.
  • Develop partnerships with professional dental associations (UFSBD & Comident) and patient associations (AFLAR).
  • Actively participate in expert boards for pain and respiratory categories in support of the Medical Director.

Desired Experience:

Master's degree (Bac +5), ideally a dual commercial/scientific curriculum.

Minimum 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory, excellent knowledge of healthcare professionals and their expectations.

Fluent English.
