Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Forensics Software Engineer to provide expert support in the analysis and exploitation of Android and iOS devices and applications in a federal contract environment. The engineer will perform advanced forensic examinations, assess device states, design and implement new forensic features, and recommend hardware and software solutions to enhance the overall forensic mission capability. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical proficiency across mobile platforms, proven experience in vulnerability research or reverse engineering, and the ability to operate effectively in secure, mission-focused environments.
Good To Have:
  • Experience developing or enhancing forensic tools and automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with disassembly, debugging, and reverse engineering methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, synthesize findings, and present results in mission-focused reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing technical documentation for government stakeholders.
  • Industry certifications such as GCFA, CCE, Cellebrite, or other mobile forensic credentials.
Must Have:
  • Conduct advanced forensic analysis and exploitation of mobile devices, applications, and operating systems, including Android and iOS.
  • Review and evaluate device states and artifacts to identify, preserve, and report on digital evidence.
  • Design and implement enhancements to existing forensic processes, tools, and workflows.
  • Recommend and integrate hardware and software solutions to improve forensic analysis environments.
  • Support vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and related mobile computing security activities.
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports in accordance with federal standards and client requirements.
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in mobile forensics, vulnerability research, reverse engineering, or mobile computing security.
  • Proficiency with ADB (Android Debug Bridge) and iOS device management utilities.
  • Programming proficiency in Python, Java/Kotlin, Swift/Objective-C, C/C++, SQL, or shell scripting.
  • Strong knowledge of Android and iOS operating systems and associated security practices.
  • Experience working across Linux, Windows, and macOS environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
