Your daily life

The Toulouse Champollion site brings together activities in satellite systems engineering, payload design and manufacturing, ground segment development and qualification. It includes a research center and an industrial accelerator for start-ups and ventures, as well as activities dedicated to low-temperature science, specifically the development and production of micromechanical coolers for demanding markets.

Thales Alenia Space plays a major industrial role in the IRIS² project by contributing to the technical design, manufacturing of payloads, and program governance, as a Core Team Member of the SpaceRISE consortium. A major technological and programmatic challenge, promising for European sovereignty… and an exciting human adventure in which you can take part!

You join the Electronic Hardware France Competence Center (CCHEF), a major player in European space, recognized for its critical embedded systems, operating 24/7 for over 15 years in orbit. Our solutions are currently at the heart of over 150 operational satellites in the fields of Telecoms, Earth Observation, and Science.

Driven by the rapid growth of low-orbit constellations, the space sector is entering a new technological era. The need for high-performance embedded solutions is more demanding than ever. This is where your role becomes essential.

As an ASIC/FPGA Verification Engineer, you play a key role in the compliance and reliability of new-generation embedded hardware platforms. You are responsible for the verification of digital systems composed of one or more ASIC or FPGA integrated circuits, and hold a central role in leading a development team in the verification phase, ensuring technical mastery, proper task distribution, and collective dynamics. You contribute to ensuring a coherent, robust, and industrializable implementation of critical digital functions.

By joining us, your main missions are:

  • Define a unit and top-level verification plan
  • Develop testbenches and associated transactors
  • Supervise test development, non-regression campaigns, and the calculation of coverage metrics (code coverage, functional coverage)
  • Ensure an effective handover with equipment validation teams, actively participating in the initial validation phases.

Your profile:

Have you already technically supervised a team or project and know how to lead an Agile Squad?

You have a BAC+5 or PhD degree in digital electronics, microelectronics or equivalent and have the following skills:

  • Solid experience (minimum 5 years) in ASIC or FPGA verification in constrained embedded environments
  • Proficiency in hardware description languages (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog) and scripting (Python)
