ZeptoLab is looking for a Freelance 2D Artist to join the Bullet Echo team. The artist will be responsible for creating stylized visuals for characters, environments, and UI elements, ensuring visual consistency and high production value. They will contribute to the visual design of new features, events, and content updates, focusing on stylish and readable UI to support gameplay clarity and enhance the player experience. Good To Have:
- Experience animating in Adobe Animate or Spine.
- Ability to read and understand English-language documentation.
Must Have:

Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 2D art assets including characters, backgrounds, UI elements, icons, and props.
- Work closely with game designers and developers to ensure visual consistency and high production value across the game.
- Contribute to the visual design of new features, events, and content updates for Bullet Echo.
- Participate in product-related tasks with a focus on creating stylish and readable UI.
- Ensure all visuals support gameplay clarity and enhance the overall player experience.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and help the team evolve its visual direction.
- Take part in review cycles, giving and receiving feedback in a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- A strong portfolio demonstrating stylized 2D work and a solid sense of color and composition.
- 2–3+ years of experience in the game industry working on mobile or live projects.
- Solid knowledge of Photoshop.
- Ability to design both UI and in-game visual assets.
- Basic to advanced animation skills.
- Russian-speaking (required, as the team operates in Russian).
- Interest in mobile games and emerging art styles.
- Open-minded, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
