Fullstack Engineer

As a fullstack engineer at Privy, you will own large areas of the company's product, architecture, and infrastructure. The role involves designing intuitive interfaces for complex systems and turning them into delightful developer tooling. You will build and integrate systems end-to-end across client-side and server-side APIs to ensure a seamless developer experience. Responsibilities include designing and implementing end-to-end product features based on user needs, advocating for usability and interface coherence, and enforcing web development best practices across the product. This role emphasizes building products users love and fostering a collaborative engineering culture.

Must Have

• Deep knowledge of React, Typescript, Next.js
• Experience maintaining production systems at scale
• Experience working with designers
• Understanding of modern web development best practices
• Experience writing developer documentation

Good to Have

• Written open-source developer tooling
• Published work (code, presentations, papers, blogs)
• Experience in authentication, security, or web3

• Design intuitive interfaces to break down complex systems and turn them into delightful developer tooling

• Build and integrate systems end-to-end across client-side and server-side APIs to enable a seamless developer experience

• Design and implement end-to-end product features driven by user needs

• Advocate for usability and interface coherence across our teams and products

• Enforce web development best practices across our entire product collaborating with other core stakeholders

What we're looking for

• Prior experience working closely with a designer to iterate on a product

• An understanding of modern web development best practices

• Experience writing delightful developer documentation
