React Native Engineer

As a React Native-focused software engineer at Privy, you will take on large areas of ownership in Privy’s product, design, and infrastructure. We value intuitive interfaces, simplicity, and rapid iteration. You will design intuitive interfaces, work closely with product and design teams, design and implement end-to-end product features, architect new SDK features, and advocate for usability. The role involves building delightful developer tooling, assembling primitives into intuitive APIs and beautiful interfaces, and encouraging big thinking, experiments, and curiosity to build better tooling.

Must Have

• React Native and Expo knowledge
• Experience with production systems at scale
• Experience collaborating with designers
• React Native mobile development best practices
• Experience writing developer documentation

Good to Have

• Written open-source developer tooling
• Published about work (code, presentations, papers, blogs)
• Experience with design teams in authentication, security, or web3

• Design intuitive interfaces to break down complex systems and turn them into delightful developer tooling

• Work closely with our product and design teams

• Design and implement end-to-end product features driven by user needs

• Architect entirely new SDK features and build tooling upgrades along the way

• Advocate for usability and interface coherence across our teams and products

What we're looking for

• React Native, Expo knowledge

• Experience building and maintaining a production system at scale

• Prior experience working closely with a designer to iterate on a product

• React Native mobile development best practices

• Experience writing delightful developer documentation
