Principal Engineer (C&S)

The Principal Engineer (C&S) will undertake detailed design in civil, bridge/tunnel, underground excavation, and tunnelling works. Responsibilities include project execution, liaison with clients and authorities, design and drawing approval, structural analysis using engineering software, and project management to ensure quality, timely delivery, and budget adherence. The role also involves reviewing designs and guiding junior staff. Candidates need a Civil and Structural Engineering degree, minimum 7 years of experience, and expertise in project management, geotechnical works, concrete/steel structures, and engineering software.

Must Have

• Undertake detailed design in Civil (drainage, sewage), Bridge/Tunnel, Underground Excavation and Tunnelling works
• Execution of projects and liaison with Client, Consultants, Contractor, and authorities for technical design support
• Checker to obtain approval of design and drawings
• Analysis on structural components using various engineering software
• Manage projects for quality, on-time delivery, and within budget
• Review design and execute design works to meet quality and submission deadlines
• Provide guidance to junior staff
• Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or equivalent recognized by Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience
• Experience in full cycle of Project Management from tender, design to construction completion
• Good exposure in analysis and design of geotechnical works, concrete structures, steel structures, civil works, or soil-structure interactions
• Good knowledge of various engineering design software and analytical tools

Good to Have

• Involved in project management with design coordination experience

Responsibilites

• Manage the projects to ensure quality work, delivery of projects on time and within budget
• Review design and execute the design works to ensure its quality and submission deadlines are met
• Provide guidance to the junior staff

Requirements

• Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or its equivalent that is recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience
• Experience in full cycle of Project Management from tender, design to the completion of construction
