The role involves coordinating subsystem integration, ensuring regulatory compliance, leading testing, managing risks, and directing technical teams for complex railway projects in Bogotá, Colombia.
Must Have
- Minimum 15 years of experience in railway systems integration
- Solid knowledge of RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety)
- Expertise in Safety, EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility), and Human Factors
- Proficiency in requirements management
- Mastery of integration equipment
- Bilingual or minimum C1 English level
- Ability to lead complex projects
- Ensure interoperability between railway subsystems
- Ensure compliance with international regulations
- Coordinate integration of all railway subsystems
- Lead planning, execution, and supervision of integration, validation, and commissioning tests
- Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks
- Direct technical teams and coordinate with stakeholders

Requirements:
Civil, Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Systems Engineer with a minimum of 15 years of specific experience in railway systems integration, with solid knowledge in RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety), Safety, EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility), Human Factors, and requirements management, as well as mastery of integration equipment. The candidate must be bilingual or have a minimum C1 English level, with the ability to lead complex projects, ensure interoperability between subsystems, and ensure compliance with international regulations in all project phases.
Functions:
- Coordinate the integration of all railway subsystems (signaling, telecommunications, rolling stock, energy, etc.) ensuring their interoperability.
- Ensure that the project complies with RAMS, Safety, EMC, and human factors regulations in all phases.
- Define, analyze, and control the technical and functional requirements of the project, ensuring traceability and validation.
- Lead the planning, execution, and supervision of integration, validation, and commissioning tests.
- Identify technical and operational risks, implement mitigation measures, and ensure system safety.
- Direct technical teams and coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure correct implementation.
- Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and compliance reports for regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
- Propose improvements in integration processes and ensure efficiency in costs, times, and quality.
