As a Client Systems Engineer - Mac, you will ensure the flawless operation and maintenance of endpoint devices in a dynamic, global enterprise environment, working with world-class technologies and ambitious professionals.
Must Have
- Provide technical assistance for macOS endpoints.
- Manage Client Engineering services including Jamf, Intune, Apple Business Manager, CrashPlan, CrowdStrike, and macOS operating systems.
- Support automated device provisioning services, primarily Jamf/Apple Automated Device Enrollment.
- Prepare third-party and native macOS software packages for distribution.
- Set up and implement macOS policies, scripts, and MDM profiles following Information Security standards.
- Assist with endpoint management service installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Monitor all endpoint deployments to ensure quality and SLA compliance.
- Take ownership of incidents from helpdesk personnel for Client Engineering services, including advanced troubleshooting.
- Assist with all incident/request tickets coming into the Client Engineering queue.
- Craft and maintain detailed end-user documentation, support documentation, process flows, and reporting.
- 5+ years of experience in desktop support conducting advanced troubleshooting of modern Apple devices within a corporate environment.
- Over 5 years of experience providing support and troubleshooting for endpoint management platforms, including Jamf, Intune, related MDM tools, and Azure AD/Active Directory.
- Proficiency in scripting languages and principles such as shell, Python, or Swift.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to think logically and analyze application and business process requirements.
- Experience in a user-focused technical-support environment.
- Dedicated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in information technology, computer science, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Experience with management of iOS/iPadOS and Android through Intune MDM.

Essential Job Responsibilities
The engineer in this position will provide technical assistance for macOS endpoints and manage Client Engineering services, which include Jamf, Intune, Apple Business Manager, CrashPlan, CrowdStrike, macOS operating systems, and related technologies.
The engineer will be accountable for:
- Supporting automated device provisioning services, primarily Jamf/Apple Automated Device Enrollment.
- Preparing third-party and native macOS software packages for distribution to endpoints during new installations, upgrades, and patching processes.
- Setting up and implementing macOS policies, scripts, and MDM profiles on endpoints following all Information Security standards.
- Assisting with endpoint management service installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Monitoring all endpoint deployments to ensure quality and SLA compliance.
- Taking ownership of incidents brought up by helpdesk personnel for Client Engineering services, including advanced troubleshooting and resolution of complex issues on macOS endpoints.
- Assisting with all incident/request tickets coming into the Client Engineering queue.
- Crafting and maintaining detailed end-user documentation, support documentation, process flows, and reporting for Client Engineering managed systems.
Qualifications/Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in desktop support conducting advanced troubleshooting of modern Apple devices within a corporate environment.
- Over 5 years of experience providing support and troubleshooting for several endpoint management platforms, including Jamf, Intune, related MDM tools, and Azure AD/Active Directory.
- Proficiency in scripting languages and principles – such as shell, Python, Swift, or any scripting language used to automate, configure, coordinate, or secure an Apple environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to peers and management.
- Ability to think logically and analyze application and business process requirements.
- Experience in a user-focused technical-support environment.
- Dedicated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in information technology, computer science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bonus
Experience with management of iOS/iPadOS and Android through Intune MDM is a plus, as this engineer will also be supporting our Mobile team.
The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$68,000 - $121,200
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
