The Senior Pega System Architect (SSA) will design, implement, and govern a Pega Constellation-based Customer Service solution for Government. This role involves developing solutions aligned with government policies, security standards, accessibility requirements, and service delivery outcomes, leveraging Pega Customer Service, Case Management, and Omni-Channel capabilities. The SSA will collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable, maintainable Pega solutions, ensuring high-quality delivery, efficient integrations, and adherence to Pega Guardrails.

Must Have

  • Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) certification
  • 5-8 years Pega development experience
  • Strong Pega Customer Service experience
  • Advanced Pega case management, data modelling, rule design
  • Knowledge of Pega Guardrails, performance tuning, reuse patterns
  • Ability to follow secure coding and data handling practices
  • Experience in Agile / Scrum teams
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience working within Constellation UI constraints and best practices

Good to Have

  • Hands-on experience designing solutions using Pega Constellation architecture
  • Experience with Pega Government Platform
  • Experience with Self-Service Portals and Omni-Channel delivery

Role Summary

The Senior Pega System Architect (SSA) will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and governing a Pega Constellation-based Customer Service solution for Government. The role is responsible for developing the solution that aligns with government policies, security standards, accessibility requirements, and service delivery outcomes, while leveraging Pega Customer Service, Case Management, and Omni-Channel capabilities.

The SSA will work closely with business stakeholders, Lead system architects, security teams, and delivery squads to translate complex service delivery requirements into scalable, maintainable Pega solutions.

What success looks like in this role

  • High-quality Pega solution delivered in line with Constellation architecture and Pega Guardrails
  • Design and implement Pega solutions that are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business requirements.
  • Complex case types, service intents, and flows implemented accurately
  • Constellation-based UI built using out-of-the-box views and DX APIs with minimal customisation
  • Integrations implemented reliably with strong error handling and performance
  • Features delivered on time and with minimal rework
  • Solutions that meet government security, privacy, and accessibility requirements
  • Reduced defects through strong unit testing and peer reviews
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and developers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Manage the technical aspects of deployment and post-implementation support.
  • Keep abreast of the latest Pega technologies and functionalities, advocating for their use to improve project outcomes.
