Job Summary
Quest Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, to contribute to world-class engineering solutions. The role involves engineering design for electrical and mechanical systems on Gas Turbine Packaging Systems, technical leadership, and project monitoring. Must Have
- Perform engineering design for electrical and mechanical systems on Gas Turbine Packaging System.
- Develop scope of work, plan schedule, and monitor engineering activities for customer projects.
- Provide technical leadership and interface with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Design changes to cables, electrical cabinets, inductors, breakers, transformers, fans, motors, control panels.
- Support NPI and cost reduction projects, drive PDR, CDR, DDR Design Review meetings.
- Work with 2D CADD designers and manage ECR/ECO for releasing Drawing/BOM.
- Develop electrical products, manufacturing processes, and electrical testing methods.
- Ensure functionality, safety, integrity of electrical designs and compliance with codes.
- Independently drive customer meetings and cross-functional coordination.
- Review system P&IDs and associated part specifications, including creation of Cable Tray, Wiring Diagram, Control panel layout, Interconnecting Wiring Diagram, JB, and Electrical Component design.

Responsibilities:
- Engineering design activities for electrical and mechanical systems on Gas Turbine Packaging System (for Aero Energy Packages)
- Serve as a key contributor to develop a scope of work and plan schedule and monitor engineering activities for customer projects.
- Provide technical leadership and interface with Proposal Management, Cost Estimating, Partners, Customers, Product Engineering, Sourcing, Engineering sub-contractors.
- Provide technical clarification of designs with suppliers, manufacturing, and services teams.
- Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
- Collaborates with others to solve issues, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and supplier. Exchanges technical information asks questions and checks for understanding.
- Design work will include design changes to cables, electrical cabinets, inductors, breakers, transformers, fans, motors, control panels etc.
- Ability to support on NPI Projects like new product initiative and/or cost reduction projects and also able to drive PDR, CDR, DDR Design Review meetings with Tech Lead/Chief Engineers
- Working with 2D CADD designers to create design Changes
- Knowledge of working on ECR/ECO for Releasing Drawing/BOM for DDR
- Develops electrical products by studying customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
- Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components, soliciting observations from operators.
- Assures product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities.
- Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
- Ensure functionality, safety and integrity of the electrical designs and compliance with appropriate codes from various regulatory bodies and best design practices.
- Ability to independently drive customer meeting and cross functional coordination with other departments Engineers.
- Review of system P&IDs and associated part specification. This would include creation of Cable Tray, Wiring Diagram, Control panel layout and Interconnecting Wiring Diagram, JB and Electrical Component design (Valve Actuators, Gas and Fire detectors)
