Senior Software Engineer - Python

Quest Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with 4+ years of experience in Python application development to work at a customer's location in Japan. The role involves understanding requirements, designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications, as well as debugging and troubleshooting. This is a long-term opportunity to work with a leading Japanese semiconductor manufacturing equipment manufacturer, contributing to global innovation in a dynamic team environment.

Must Have

• Excellent problem solving & coding skills in Python
• Excellent debugging skills
• Web Application development / API development in Python
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, Windows Operating System
• Ability to Understand and communicate with respective stakeholders to gather requirement accurately

Good to Have

• Good communication skills
• Good understanding of UML concepts
• Know-how of solid principles and design patterns
• Experience in RDBMS like MS-SQL or PostgreSQL
• Experience in no-code solutions such as KNIME

Project Overview and Responsibilities

Looking for a 4+ years of experience engineer who can work at customer location to develop applications using Python. Able to support the activities below

• Understand requirements from customer
• Design, develop, test and deploy applications
• Debug, trouble shoot and provide solutions

The person should work at the at customer’s location along with the customer team.
