Job Summary

Quest Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, analyze, simulate, test, and document control electronics, including motor drive, sensor interface, and controller circuits. The role involves creating and maintaining electrical interface control documentation, evaluating new electronic components, and developing continuous improvement tools and work instructions. This position contributes to world-class engineering solutions across various industries, including aerospace & defense, by leveraging deep industry knowledge and digital expertise.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in electronics including analog & digital circuitry
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing electronic circuits
  • Experience drafting control documentation/standard work
  • Ability to design, analyze, simulate, test, and document control electronics circuitry
  • Ability to create and maintain electrical interface control documentation
  • Ability to produce products according to specifications
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate new or improved electronic components
  • Ability to create continuous improvement tools, develop work instructions and standard work
  • U.S. citizenship is required

POSITION: Electrical Engineer

What you will do:

  • Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document control electronics (and related analog and digital) circuitry. Circuitry includes motor drive, sensor interface, and controller circuits.
  • Create and maintain electrical interface control documentation.
  • Produces products according to specifications, using the most cost effective and efficient means.
  • Analyzes and evaluates new or improved electronic components.
  • Create continuous improvement tools, develop work instructions and standard work.
  • Participate and complete actions by attending daily / weekly schedule / status meetings, or more frequently as deemed appropriate.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electronics including analog & digital circuitry
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing electronic circuits and drafting control documentation/standard work
  • Participate in ongoing project/update meetings as needed

Pay Range: $85K to $105K

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements:

This role is considered an on-site position located in Rockford, ILL

  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, zero travel is required.

Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
