Job Summary
Quest Global is seeking a cheerful and lively IT Support Engineer with strong communication skills to provide on-site IT support to employees at a customer location in Oshu, Iwate, Japan. The role involves LAN-related support, server and IT equipment management, software distribution, Windows OS updates, fixed IP address procedures, and initial response to network outages. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a long-term opportunity to work with a leading semiconductor manufacturing equipment manufacturer.
Must Have
- Basic knowledge and operation of Microsoft Operating System / Office products
- Understanding of PC hardware structure and ability to perform initial failure diagnosis
- Ability to perform simple internal component replacement
- Basic LAN knowledge, including cable installation and wiring
- Basic knowledge of network security
Good to Have
- Good communication skills
- Ability to communicate smoothly with internal users, including when making inquiries
- Knowledge equivalent to IT Passport or Fundamental Information Technology Engineer Examination

Project Overview and Responsibilities
Looking for a cheerful, lively person with good communication skills who can provide IT support to the employees at customer location. Able to support the activities below.
- LAN-related support
- Server and IT equipment management
- Software distribution and support
- Windows Operating System update support
- Fixed IP address issuance procedures
- Initial response to power outages and network outages
Team Structure
The person should work as IT support engineer at the Information Security & IT Infrastructure Department at customer location.
