Who We Are:

Quest Global delivers world-class end-to-end engineering solutions by leveraging our deep industry knowledge and digital expertise. By bringing together technologies and industries, alongside the contributions of diverse individuals and their areas of expertise, we are able to solve problems better, faster. This multi-dimensional approach enables us to solve the most critical and large-scale challenges across the aerospace & defense, automotive, energy, hi-tech, healthcare, medical devices, rail and semiconductor industries.

We are looking for humble geniuses, who believe that engineering has the potential to make the impossible possible; innovators, who are not only inspired by technology and innovation, but also perpetually driven to design, develop, and test as a trusted partner for Fortune 500 customers. As a team of remarkably diverse engineers, we recognize that what we are really engineering is a brighter future for us all. If you want to contribute to meaningful work and be part of an organization that truly believes when you win, we all win, and when you fail, we all learn, then we’re eager to hear from you.

We are looking for a passionate engineer with a solid background in Gas Turbine combustion to join the LGT Combustion Module (MOD CB) team as an aero designer for all combustion system developments including hydrogen and special fuels developments. As a part of the multinational and multidisciplinary team, you would interface with team members globally for various interdisciplinary topics like mechanical design, thermos-acoustics. You would conceptualize aero design of combustion systems and also help in validation of the same.

The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills:

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and execute the development of combustion aero concepts from preliminary and detailed designs.
  • Execute analyses to down-select new design solutions, to understand the impact of different design solutions on the fuel air mixing, emissions, performance, and dynamics.
  • Contribute to develop as well as execute the combustion aero technology roadmap in support to the advanced combustion systems, including the adoption of alternative fuels (i.e., H2)
  • Communicate results, findings, and observations in a clear and concise manner to peers, IPT Leads and combustion management.
  • Provide feedback to improve/align current Design philosophies to TFP/Part owner.
  • Contribute to project design reviews and status reviews.
  • Coordinate university research programs in the areas of CFD, experimental testing and/or thermoacoustic.
  • Work with local and global teams for PD and CFD scopes

What You Will Bring:

  • Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
  • Min. 3yrs. Of experience in the job; higher degree can be used in lieu of experience
  • Understanding different computational methods applied in combustion simulations, realizing and selecting the method and software depending on the project’s timeline
  • Experience with engine performance (efficiency, emission, …) as well as details of combustion behavior (physical and numerical turbulent properties, un-mixedness, temperature fluctuations, flashback propensity)
  • Advanced combustion simulation methods, software and coding skills to be able to write customized post processing software suites.
  • Product definition skills: Creation of NX models for analysis.

Pay Range: $75,000 to $85,000 a year

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
