Job Summary
This role involves working as an Onsite Program Manager within an OEM team, focusing on System Engineering activities in both ADAS and infotainment domains. Key responsibilities include project planning, scope definition, execution, issue management, stakeholder communication, and managing techno-commercial proposals. The position requires extensive experience in IT industrial and automotive system engineering, with a strong background in project/program management and people management, alongside fluent English and Japanese communication skills.
Must Have
- Overall IT Industrial experience of 15+ years with 10 year Project/Program Management
- Experience in Automotive System Engineering 5 years above
- Worked as part of Automotive systems engineering team
- Excellent customer front experience
- Proven experience in people management across multiple teams, across time zones
- Experience with process implementation, rollout, tracking progress of these processes
- Fluent communication with internal / customer in both English and Japanese
- Working with Global team (Cross cultural, cross functional communication) experience
Good to Have
- Good systems engineering understanding to define interfaces and specifications related to Diagnostics, fault codes, fail safe for automotive ECUs
- Exposure in defining documentation specifications for vendors
- Familiar with Functional Safety, Cyber security standards
- Experience in working as part of OEM team
- Good customer communication, tracking, follow up and process management skills
- Customer front experience in Automotive is an added advantage

Responsibilities
- Work as part of OEM team to support System Engineering activities in both ADAS and infotainment domains (Track and fulfil requests from customer, support task planning activities)
- Facilitate planning for project teams to determine and define project scope and objectives, develop detailed project plans and schedules, and drive execution plans through to completion
- Proactive support to Sales, Identify, assess, and manage issues to the success of the project, know when escalation is required
- Effective Communication with relevant stakeholders both customer and internal Quest Entities
- Creating and owning and tracking of techno commercial proposals
- Manage intake process for the team, work on prioritization with the team, hiring roadmap creation and related tasks

- English – Business Level (TOEIC score: over 800 )
- Japanese – Native Japanese or JLPT N2 or above
