Job Summary
NXP is seeking an enthusiastic Program Manager for AI/ML to join its Secure IP team, focusing on integrating AI/ML capabilities into next-generation products. The role involves driving requirements definition with architects and AI/ML engineers, creating and monitoring project plans, managing budgets, and reporting KPIs, all while ensuring alignment with AI/ML development timelines. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering or data science, strong project management skills, and experience with complex technical projects involving hardware, software, and AI/ML components, demonstrating excellent communication and leadership.
Must Have
- Drive definition of requirements and specifications with architects, AI/ML engineers, and customer stakeholders.
- Create and monitor project plans, including AI/ML integration milestones.
- Control project budgets, factoring in AI/ML resource allocation.
- Report KPIs and results into Project Review Boards, including AI/ML performance metrics.
- Interface with suppliers, internal stakeholders, AI/ML research teams, and 3rd parties.
- Background in electrical engineering, hardware, software development, or data science.
- Understanding of embedded software design and verification methodologies.
- Solid understanding of project management practices.
- Strong Program Management skills and experience in managing complex technical projects (hardware, software, AI/ML).
- Strong foundational knowledge and program management approach to drive NPI execution.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with complex environments.
- Proficiency in risk and issue management, including AI/ML-specific risks.
Good to Have
- Understanding or experience with Agile Project Management process.
- Knowledge of cryptography, security, secure protocols, and AI-driven anomaly detection.
- MS Project and/or Sciforma or other Product and Portfolio Management tool experience.
- PMI/PMP certification.

Your Responsibilities
- Drive the definition of requirements and specifications in close cooperation with architects, AI/ML engineers, and customer stakeholders.
- Create project plans in line with business requirements, including AI/ML integration milestones.
- Monitor and control the progress of projects, ensuring alignment with AI/ML development timelines.
- Report KPIs and results into Project Review Boards, including AI/ML performance metrics.
- Monitor and control project budgets, factoring in AI/ML resource allocation.
- Interface with suppliers, internal stakeholders, AI/ML research teams, and 3rd parties.
Your Profile
- Background in electrical engineering, hardware, software development, or data science.
- Understanding of embedded software design and verification methodologies.
- Solid understanding of project management practices.
- Understanding or experience with Agile Project Management process is considered a plus.
- Knowledge of cryptography, security, secure protocols, and AI-driven anomaly detection is an asset.
- Strong communication skills, networking, and team/partner integration skills.
- Result-oriented approach, open for new challenges.

Qualifications/Experience
- BE or advanced degree preferred.
- Subject matter background in one or more of the following areas: SoC design, SW development, AI/ML security, product/test development, or applications.
- Strong Program Management skills and experience in managing complex technical projects including hardware, software, and AI/ML components.
- Strong foundational knowledge and program management approach to drive NPI execution within established timelines and target costs.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to drive business and innovation, including AI/ML adoption.
- Ability to quickly recognize and articulate barriers and critical paths to success across teams.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with complex environments.
- Oriented toward process improvement and operational excellence.
- Highly effective leader who can develop and inspire a team to the highest levels of performance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Critical thinking skills and proficiency in risk and issue management, including AI/ML-specific risks.
- MS Project and/or Sciforma or other Product and Portfolio Management tool experience is a plus.
- PMI/PMP certification desirable but not required.
