This Game Designer role at Panteon focuses on shaping casual games like Raid Rush. The ideal candidate will analyze game mechanics, fine-tune economies, and design engaging player experiences. Responsibilities include collaborating with teams, balancing game systems, creating GDDs, and optimizing mechanics based on data. We seek someone with a strong understanding of casual game design, economy balancing, and player engagement.

At Panteon, we’re looking for a Game Designer to help shape the future of Raid Rush and other casual games. If you love analyzing game mechanics, fine-tuning economies, and designing engaging player experiences, this is your chance to make an impact.

What Do We Expect?

  • Strong passion for casual game development and a deep understanding of player engagement mechanics.
  • Ability to design, balance, and iterate on core gameplay mechanics.
  • Experience with game economy design, including in-game currencies, progression pacing, and monetization models.
  • Strong mathematical skills to fine-tune game balance, probabilities, and economy.
  • Ability to analyze KPI metrics (retention, ARPU, LTV, etc.) and create action plans for improvement.
  • 1+ years of professional experience as a Game Designer.
  • Proficiency Excel, Google Sheets, etc. for economy modeling and data analysis.
  • Experience working with Unity is a plus.
  • Strong ability to deconstruct existing games, identify patterns, and apply insights.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

What Will You Do?

  • Collaborate with developers, artists, and testers to bring new game features to life.
  • Design and balance game systems, meta-progression, and monetization mechanics.
  • Create detailed Game Design Documents (GDDs) and iterate on designs based on feedback and data.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor games to stay ahead of industry shifts.
  • Test, refine, and optimize game mechanics for maximum engagement and retention.
  • Work with data analysts to interpret game performance metrics and fine-tune balance accordingly.
