The Global Marketing Operations team within Global Marketing Services are looking for a Global Digital Operations Manager as a 12 month secondment/maternity leave cover.

The ideal candidate will help lead our operational excellence across Personalised Connections. This new programme for Haleon includes first party data acquisition, audience segmentation and activation; with the ultimate purpose of delivering better everyday health with humanity.

To support this purpose, Haleon’s Global Marketing Operations team has the vision to deliver best-in-class martech-enabled services that provide the most innovative and human centred consumer experiences in the marketplace.

The ideal candidate must advocate for capability enablement at scale across our brands and markets, evangelizing best practices throughout the organization, driving and enabling business KPIs, and delivering a best in class experiences for our consumers. You will use your consumer experience background to ensure all experiences meet consumer needs across the experience journey, and that solutions are intuitive and easy to use for marketers.

In your role as a Global Digital Operations Manager, you will be the business service owner for some of the most innovative and transformational pillars of our martech stack. You will be a core lynch pin and the connection between multi-functional stakeholders, global markets, the Haleon Tech team and external partners to lead the activation of new consumer experience solutions, with a focus on defining and optimising the Personalised Connections process and capabilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Partners with BUs and Global Category stakeholders to understand their needs and inform product tech roadmaps & visions, strategies, features, and priorities for our Salesforce Audience Platform (Customer Data Platform/CDP) and data acquisition tools.

  • Enable & optimise capabilities for BUs to start and expand their first-party data collection, data segmentation and data activation to deliver human centred experiences.

  • Educate and inspire marketeers with best practice to continuously drive marketing effectiveness. Develop training modules and lead virtual training sessions for internal & external teams.

  • Driving simplicity in our Personalised Connections processes and technology for a seamless end user experience by understanding the Marketer’s needs and partnering with the tech org and external saas partners.

  • Work in an Agile environment refine priorities quarterly, outline milestones, deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks.

  • Lead complex multi stakeholder global projects, defining DAIPs and holding self & others to account to deliver milestones.

  • Manage a near-shore agency service layer team (3 people) to ensure first class support and training for our internal teams.

Qualifications and skills

  • Significant experience in global or local digital marketing roles

  • Experience in solving consumer problems and making meaningful connections across the experience journey, particularly data acquisition tools.

  • Proven experience creating business cases and influencing roadmaps.
